Customer service
Great Customer Service
N/A
Very high default rate
What is even more frustrating is the lack of transparency. As a lender, I don’t have clear visibility into the payment-processing timeline. When a loan reaches its due date, I don’t know whether the borrower actually made the payment on time but it has not yet been processed, or whether the borrower simply did not pay.
I also have concerns about the lack of transparency regarding recovery efforts. SoLo charges lenders a 12% fee when a loan becomes overdue, while borrowers appear to have a 30-day grace period before additional recovery fees apply. As a lender, I would expect much more transparency about what is actually being done to recover my money during that period.
Customer service has also been very disappointing. When I ask specific questions about my loans, the responses often feel like AI-generated answers rather than addressing my specific situation. I have repeatedly asked for details about individual overdue loans and the recovery process, but I have not received the level of information I believe lenders deserve.
I understand that peer-to-peer lending involves risk, and I accept that borrowers can default. My concern is the combination of a high delinquency rate, limited transparency about payment processing and recovery efforts, and inadequate customer support.
SoLo needs to provide lenders with much more detailed and transparent information about where their money is, whether payments have actually been made, and what specific actions are being taken to recover overdue loans.
Great Community Loan App That Progresses Quickly With Larger Loans
Were only allowed to participate in the lend / borrow Solo System once determined to be qualified by the aforementioned process.. .
Ready for the Best Part ...........It takes longer to read My Review than it does to be Approved through The Solo "Super-fast" Vetting Process (about 20 minutes). 😉👍

Lenders be careful - questionable scoring system
Do NOT USE THIS APP extremely DISAPPOINTED
I immediately contacted customer support and explained exactly what happened. Instead of simply helping me resolve the situation, I was told that one of the loans could not be refunded because it had already been cashed out, while the other would supposedly be handled by a “recovery team.”
What makes this even more frustrating is that my money is still sitting in my Solo wallet and I am being prevented from getting my own funds back. I have repeatedly tried to get this issue resolved, and I feel like I am being given the runaround.
How is it acceptable for a customer to clearly state that a transaction was accidental, request their funds back, and still have their money tied up with no satisfactory resolution?
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Solo. An app involving people’s money needs to be transparent, straightforward, and accountable. Customers should not have to fight to get access to their own money or spend days trying to get someone to take responsibility for resolving an issue.
I would NOT recommend this app to anyone. Read everything carefully before connecting your bank account or putting money into this platform. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and I am still trying to get my funds returned.
Solo needs to stop giving me the runaround and return my money.

Losing Money
could never get a loan
Loan
Horrible app, scam, missing money
My account was restricted over a past-due loan from 2023. I paid it back and sent proof of payment right away, but months later I still can’t withdraw any funds from my account. On top of that, my SoLo card keeps declining for “insufficient funds,” even though money is still sitting in, and still being pulled from, my account. On August 16, I was charged $39 for an Uber Eats order I never received, and support was unable to cancel it or get my money refunded.
I even added $200 to my account specifically to pay off my current loan, and the app wouldn’t let me make that payment either. So I’m stuck: I can’t withdraw my own money, and I can’t use it to pay down my loan. I’ve stopped making loan payments until this is fixed, because there’s no way for me to access my funds to do so.
I’ve contacted support almost every day for weeks and been passed between multiple agents. Every time, I’m told my case is “escalated” and that someone will follow up, but nothing changes. Last week I was told I’d be able to cash out again by Monday. That day came and went, and I’m still locked out.
This is rent money, not spare cash. A month of vague reassurances with no actual resolution is not okay for a company holding people’s real funds. I can’t recommend SoLo Funds until they fix how they handle account restrictions and withdrawals.
