Huge Asset to Gigging Musicians
This app has been a huge asset to my gigging career. It allows me to personalize cover songs and to write out my original song ideas with lyrics, chord charts, key signature, tempo, time signature, and capo use for guitar. You can even customize the chord, the title of each section, and make setlists for different types of performances.
It has auto scroll for live performance and I can connect my Airturn DUO 500 pedal to scroll to different sections live with a tap of my foot.
They were also super quick and informative when I reached out with an inquiry. They just added a new feature to back up your library and restore your back up so you never lose your hard work or original songs!

If you're looking for a simple Chord Pro program to layout your music charts, buy SongSheet Pro! It will be money well spent.
I've been using SongSheet Pro for years and it has been a super reliable and useful tool. I have over 900 songs saved in it. The only thing that I was ever missing from it was the inability to print two columns.
I used to use a silly bass-ackward method to get two column charts by taking screenshots of two-pagers and cutting and pasting columns together into one image and saving that as a PDF. What a hassle (although I got really fast at it.)
Lo and behold, I opened SongSheet Pro today and when I went to print, I was happily surprised to find it supports two columns natively and allows for more printing options. Thank you so much to the SongSheet Pro developers! Great product! Get it and you won't be disappointed.

Eases all the Pain Points
A friend showed me this about a dozen years ago and I’ve been a rabid fan ever since. I do about 450 1-hour gigs a year and I can’t even imagine what chaos my life would be without this app. It is chock full or features but that’s not the best part.
Gabriel, the creator is a genuinely awesome guy. He is exceedingly responsive and interested in the user experience. This is a feature you can’t pay enough for. In addition to actually implementing user suggestions, he is deeply dedicated to Songsheet Pro.
It is for these reasons I think this app is unmatched by any other out there. He has my eternal gratitude for making my life easier, which not many people can do for us these days.

SongSheet Pro is still the VERY BEST app for SONGWRITERs / SINGERs / PERFORMERS I’ve been using this app for over 10 years, and it is still my most favorite app for Songwriting & Singing. I’ve tried so many apps before I decided on this one, & I made the right choice! This app is very intuitive: just type, copy or paste in lyrics & chords. It’s that easy! I love that I can add an audio track to my songs to remember it, practice with it or to “sweeten” the performance. And I love how I can change the key to a song, at any time to see if it suits my vocal range better. Now you can even scan in old binder images & even convert those images into text files. Once they get you by the neck on a subscription basis, they’ve got you. I hate the fact that I got involved with this. Greedy people.
Hints
They have a tutorial doc, BUT IT DOESN'T TELL YOU HOW TO START??? There is no plus button to start your new song, the search feature doesn't reveal any music, the main menu isn't ant less confusing, and its dumb. The UI isn't intuitive at all, so im good, i'll find an app simplier. I just wanted a step above using my notes app for lyrics, instead i got 20 steps below that

THE Best Song App for Musicians
I’m pretty sure I was one of the early users of SongSheet Pro. It’s an indispensable tool for working musicians as well as hobbyists.
I currently perform in two bands and now have well over 1,000 songs. I’ve probably performed 200 songs and the extras come in handy if we get requests. I do all of our rehearsals and gig set lists in SongSheet.
The app is incredibly flexible. In addition to entering or importing chords and lyrics, I use it to makes notes about who plays what solos, what pedals on my rig to have on or off on songs, etc.
If you have questions, the developer, Gabriel, is an email away and my experience is that he respond remarkably quick.

Anti consumer greed
$2 a WEEK for a simple app. The developers are contributing to the miasma of the modern world. SUCH GREED WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Edit: the developer responded and let me know you can subscribe for $40 a year or buy it for $130. Also both TOTAL RIPOFFS. A simple app like this should be $15 TOPS. How did we get to the point that $130 is the price tag for a tiny app? These developers are so greedy, they don’t care how much money gets sucked out of people’s pockets. All they know is every other developer is doing it, so they are GOOD with predatory pricing. What a horrible time the 2020s is.
Bottom line this app is worth $10. The developer is very happy to play stupid games with your money and try to extract as much money as possible from you for a VERY LIGHTWEIGHT app. That never would have flown in the past but the developer is so happy. The weekly plan is meant for short-term use (e.g. when trying it out, if you need more time after the free trial expires). I would suggest if you are going to use the app long term you subscribe on a monthly or annual basis, which are cheaper than the weekly plan. Alternatively, there is even a lifetime purchase option so you can pay once and never again and still get all future updates!

20% price hike?! Greedy?
I use it every day for busking, and have recommended it to many friends. However, the new monthly price of £6.99 vs £4.99 is a real kick in the bits to me. For my simple needs, managing lyrics and set lists, I’m sure there are other options so I’ll be checking out some other options… and won’t be recommending it again.

Intuitive —-Wow!
Wow! Took me all these years to give up paper and books. In 3 days I tried about 6 different apps. From a Friday evening to a Sunday evening SongSheet Pro has all the intuitive functionality as if I was organizing with paper. This is just organizing for new material and set list creation. Loaded different file formats in one easy step. Sheet music, leaf sheets, cheat sheets, pdf or word. Simple. The learning curve is converting those files to the app. It has a conversion tool. Depending on what you loaded, it takes a few hours to figure out how to improve the format after it’s converted. Mess up? No worries. Re-import and try again. The auto- scroll is brilliant. Set tempo to have auto- scroll fit your needs. This was so easy. I have not even tried the extended features yet of midi, Bluetooth controller, backing tracks, etc. I’m sure if I do they will be amazing.

One thing missing
I’ve been using this app for many years, and I love it. I only wish the developer would add Nashville notation as an option.
Sort issues in set list
Please fix issue with customizing the sort in a set list. So frustrating that I have to delete all songs and enter them in the order I want. Should be able to move them.

Amazing app
This app is amazing and helps me with all my gigs and concerts. Also the developers answer quickly to feedback and suggestions.
Looking forward for 2 features to be implemented soon: cross-device syncing and apple pencil support for handwritten notes.

Buggy and Difficult to Use
I have used this app - the paid version for 2 years. I finally have given up and gone on to other apps.
There are many problems here:
- no cloud based sharing. You have to email to share
- dragging chords with your finger is clunky and inaccurate.
- propriety binary code internal format. No way to easily edit the song
- verse gets deleted if you try to remove a marker. No way to know until you exit and open the song
- bluetooth accompanying scrolling app is unreliable leaving you hanging while performing

The Perfect App
I’ve had apple for over 10 years and this is my first review. This app is perfect for what I need and I love the fact that they thought of the user. This isn’t entirely fancy and complex - and helps me stay organized in the way my brain functions to support the ministry. Not all songs or hymns have the right chord charting and it’s hard to rely on one database for songs that are in different languages. For my cross-cultural contexts - this equips myself and our team with all we need.
