Frustrating

The app works fairly well but they’re forever making changes to it, then they require you to go through a login procedure which takes a variable amount of time. This is a mission critical system, if I’m in a meeting and I need to turn up my hearing aids I don’t wanna have to sit there for two minutes through login stuff. You’ll need to fix that pronto, or my next pair of hearing aids will not be Sony.

Thank you Sony!!

The new app is so much better thank you! Being able to see where fine tuning settings are is huge. No more guessing what you were set to. The app environment is very simple and takes only a few minutes to learn navigating. Everything seems to be there from the old version as well as the new.

Doesn’t work

Sony just updated their app but it doesn’t work! They are working on it but it’s been 5 days and still nothing. Don’t buy these hearing aids!!!

App Update

The current update that has been performed. Sucks! I don’t have near The adjustments that I had prior to the update. The instruction say that you can adjust each year on your iPhone or iPad however, that is incorrect because when I click on adjusting the volume, it goes back to having to open up the app therefore it doesn’t work. I’m extremely upset with this change and at this time, I believe it has also altered my left hearing aid to the point where it does not work. Thanks for screwing up my hearing aids.

Needs more work

Most of it works. Battery check options, caused the app to freeze my phone. Apparently the app doesn't go through any beta testing

3.3 solved the issues I had with previous version

Version 3.3 is a great improvement not only does it look and feel and respond differently and better. The problems I had with the previous version went away by that I mean fine tuning of the left and right was much more accurate and didn’t have any anomalous misbehavior compared to the previous one which I constantly had to turn it up and down, depending on the situation and would hear feedback high squeals from time to time much happier since I got 3.3 installed and took the hearing test over again and reconfigured everything. Yes I had to unpair it and re-repair it and do the fine-tuning settings while in front of the TV, but the overall result is much better.

Missing Feature

One of the features that I miss is the ability to adjust the individual ear volume.

Update broken

Latest update broken. Left ear battery check doesn't do anything. Unable to at adjust volume. Says volume is too high no matter what I set it to. Went from bad to unusable. Killed apps and restarted but that didn't help.

I wish I could give the new app zero stars

They changed the app and it is now horrendous! I have the C-10s and I cannot find the speaker adjustment anywhere even though the video guide says it should be there. The only thing I can do on the app now is adjust the volume

Don’t make me log in every time!

I have mild hearing loss, so I only use this every so often. Each time I go out to eat with friends, it makes me log in and fiddle with the phone for 5 or 10 minutes before I can engage in conversation. The app has gotten much worse. I shouldn’t have to log in to adjust my hearing aids.

And now they’ve deleted the directionality function that used to let you aim the amplification toward the front! That was the best feature. I regret buying these hearing aids.

Terrible app

Was hopeful that the tab based improvement would help make adjustments easier, but the update now says I have a version of hearing aids that I do not own and crashes when I’m trying to make adjustments

Update crashes

The latest update crashes and is utterly useless. Why the change?

Aug 2026 update disaster

The app with controls for CRE20 updated with no warning. It’s terrible - and faulty. It seems to have lost prior settings. Worse, it now says I have CRE10 (I don’t) with no way to correct.
A prior problem is now worse. The app signs out (probably a timing out) and when it does I cannot use the app to adjust settings without logging in to account. Often? Only if I go through full-blown settings up (impossible without case). Going to an environment where I need to tweak reception (lower volume around noisy equipment of higher volume in classroom, etc), it has too often been signed out of account at inconvenient times.
This newest update is a disaster.

Almost good

I should not need the internet to use these; since they don’t connect to the phone for music or calls, they should be independent of net use. I also don’t like that the data has to be continually refed into the system. Friends sign onto games and it remembers multiple things; why can’t this app? Bring back world beater Sony; this new one must fight to get the crown back!

App loses settings constantly requiring old people to log back in who don’t remember password

Seniors have to log back in to constantly re calibrate this app which always loses their settings

Love the hearing aids hate the app

The Hearing aids are the best thing I ever purchased. I continue to have an issue over and over again when I go into the app to make adjustments, all my setting are gone and I need to setup my hearing aids again. It will save them for awhile and poof, gone again.

Needed Sonys help

After taking to customer service, I was finally able to get my aids working. I’d tried several times before to get them working but was unable to get them to work. They told me to use a separate phone from the one the app is on. Never did that before, hopefully this will work! I’d lost the hearing aids because they didn’t work. I’ve asked for a new trail since this is the first time they’ve working. Hopefully they will and I won’t need it because they will continue to work satisfactory. So far so good. Nice quality sound.

Another 15 minutes wasted logging in

The app automatically logs you out every month or so, and unless you are an experienced hacker, you will not be able to log back in, even on an iPhone that usually recognizes your face, and automatically logs you in. This app should not be publishable on the iPhone App Store, so some of the responsibility lies with Apple. I propose a class action lawsuit!

Batter life
