I can never be sure if the buds are actually connected. The latest software (app) looks great compared to earlier versions but I’m afraid to say it’s far from seamless with a fight to get these buds online every time! Crazy in 2026. They sound fantastic but too much of a faff for me to use frequently

Stop turning on speak to chat
I’m tired of EVERYTIME this app updates it turns on speak to chat which I PURPOSELY turn off because it’s so annoying and I’m tired of having to turn it off every time this app updates. The only time I open this app is just to turn off speak to chat and it’s so frustrating. Why should I even turn off speak to chat if each weekly update turns it on.

Latest firmware update bad
I used to love this app so much I used it on a daily basis for almost a whole year but after the 4100 firmware update the main function I used the “DJ” function completely stopped working and instead there is a useless thing called party pad the drum machine in DJ was so good and now i can’t access it I’m really bummed out and I’ve tried multiple and extensive troubleshooting options but nothing seems to work if anyone is having the same issue do you know how to fix it ?

Can’t get these Sony earbuds to work on any apple device, with or without this app. Works fine with my Roku tv and pc, but not with my MacBook or iPads.
Speak to Chat Feature is frustrating
The speak to chat feature with my headphones has been one of the most frustrating features i’ve had in a pair of headphones. It senses when you’re talking and will pause music or mute a meeting. It can only be controlled through the app. The app keeps changing the setting back to turning the feature on even though i continually turn it off. I’ve had work meetings be disrupted where I unmute myself to talk, but the headphones then mute the meeting and I can no longer hear the conversation. This is such an annoying feature that should be updated to keep the setting turned off if the user wants it off, instead of randomly changing it back to on.
