Perfect Third Blocker
I use three app blockers: one for locking, one for friction and one to keep me focused and calm. Soundscape fills the last place, and perfectly. The music ensures the time I’m involved in creating remains creative, and the blocking keeps me from being pulled into whatever tangential-but-unhelpful direction my creativity yoinks me.

My honest opinion
Honestly I have always struggled with blocking out my phone in order to focus. In search for solution a came across a lot of apps that’s asked for a payment or subscription but I was always shaky cause I knew I could find a better solution but still lazy about it. I remember seeing an instagram reel about soundscape and one day I decided I have to change and on that same day I forgot where I saw the soundscape reel. I was scrolling through my saved videos and still could not find it. Then one day it appeared on my for you page again and I was so happy so I downloaded and started and once I realized I have to focus in order to unlock the premium experience I knew this was the app for me because not only I’m learning to concentrate for better features I’m fighting my phone addiction at the same time. Lots of people don’t realize music is associated with memory, so one trick I did as well after studying with the app I would listen to music on my way to take my exam and was a game changer. Honestly one of the best apps and came in clutch for my finals!!!

It works overall but can you make the app stop blocking Apple Music every time I want to pause my song or change the song. Honestly just switch it back to when it was good yesterday (June 30th) 2026. Decent app otherwise, just switch it back a little.
