This is the most affordable parking there is in Southend.
Annoyed
I am very happy with Southend Parking, but just put my car across in a space as I’m expecting a workman here shortly who will need to park on my driveway. Came indoors, couldn’t find my phone to put the parking on, realised it was still in the car, & when I went back to get it I’d been given a ticket during the few mins I’d been searching for the phone. My fault, but so annoying!

Yet again both the moving app and Southend app are not working properly, no recognising I have the parking pass and have had for over 18 months. No I have had to pay again then reclaim

I have real trouble with the app most days, It doesn’t always load and I have to pay at the machine or it logs me out and I have to log back in which is time consuming and frustrating.
Use to love this App.
This App was working great but recently it’s changed. The notification reminder that parking is running out comes on the parking time or even after it’s run out not 10 minutes before like it use to be and the app keeps logging us out then takes ages to log back in, we asked Southend Council about it and was told to uninstall and reinstall the app which we’ve done more than once. I always now use Go Mobon App which is exactly the same (Southend Parking use their App system) and we don’t get these problems.

Rubbish
I stopped using Mobon a while ago because it kept declining perfectly good cards. Guess what. The app is the same. Funny how the cards work everywhere except on mobon. Deleted.
Constantly logs out and switches ‘primary vehicle’ on its own
Have had multiple tickets because this app either logs me out and refuses my password or autonomously changes the ‘primary vehicle’ so you end up putting parking on the wrong plate. The cynic in me thinks it could be a deliberate bug to earn more revenue from fines.

Nice App!
I had some reservations about this app, not that I’d heard anything bad about it, it was simply that I wasn’t sure whether I’d find too many restrictions as to it’s use. On the contrary, I discovered that there are more advantages to using this app then I’d imagined. Naturally it might not be appropriate for all people but it certainly works for me!

As Southend is an effluent dumping ground for the water company - dredging this hourly parking rate out of people is not value for money for the public.
