Sad

Doesn’t show real time travel updates and cancellations. Google Maps knows more about train status rather than c2c app.

Not sure what app these 5 star reviewers are using

As hard as I try to defend c2c, particularly now that it’s been nationalised, everything about this company is terrible.
The app is absolutely hopeless. You’ll order a ticket, reopen the app 12 hours later, and the exact same page will still be there. Then, if you go to Live Updates, it’ll tell you your session has timed out and make you start from the beginning again.
The “smart” card is just as bad. It feels like technology from 15 years ago, and my tickets only load onto it about 50% of the time. Then you get to the gates and the staff tell you that you need to sort the issue out yourself. Brilliant. Why can’t you just tap on with the app.
The trains are probably the most unreliable in the UK. You can pretty much expect every train to be delayed, if not cancelled altogether. The carriages are in a shocking state too, with urine literally floating up and down the carriage as the train moves.
It’s comical, honestly. £25 a day for quite possibly the worst travel experience on the planet.

Constant Errors

I was excited to see some updates on the app this morning, but that was short lived…

Address lookup finally worked but doesn’t let you check out, tells you address field 2 is mandatory, which I clearly isn’t. Back to manually typing in, which doesn’t need address line two.

Seven times I tried to checkout, Apple Pay pops up but won’t progress.

Surely it can’t be that hard to get things working

Don’t believe the fake reviews

The most unreliable app, constantly freezes and deletes your purchases. Then the unreliability of the trains themselves is beyond a joke. No a/c and constant delays. If you want cheap tickets to London, just get off at West Ham as there aren’t any gates and zero staff to enforce it 👍

Good job C2C staff

Thanks to c2c being so close to me I enjoy my Travel again
