Seat assignments
I booked well in advance two seats
Unbeknownst to me until checking in, they placed us in different rows on the connecting flight!
wth?
Upon check in I became aware of this absurdity, attempted to pay for new seat assignments. Of course the morning of there were adjoining seats available. This is the first time we’ve ever had this happen ( we fly semi frequently)

Although I am disappointed about having to pay for my baggage I love Southwest still. They really have SOME awesome STAFF/FLIGHT ATTENDANTS ETC…
Check in sucks
Absolutely hate this new seating process and check in. I have been a loyal SW customer for decades. That will change here shortly.
Lousy since they went to assigned seats
No ability to manage seating. I have a bad arm and my wife and I booked seats next to each other. They changed our seats hours before the flight causing a major issue for our family.
