Assertion of person or Xenophobia
I applied for this position, but I wasn’t approved for a year. Finally, I received a message stating that I wasn’t qualified for the position. However, the message didn’t specify what qualifications were required. I’ve been driving for over two decades and hold college degrees. Perhaps my race played a role in this decision.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!
I was trying to apply to be a driver and I accidentally put my married name instead of my legal maiden name, so I went back to fix it and then the app crashed and when I went back on, it changed it back to the original and wouldn’t let me go back and change it. I called customer service and the men I spoke to were so rude and disrespectful to me it was unfathomable. The supervisor I spoke to was also nasty to me and spoke very condescending to me. When it was literally YOUR app that glitched. His name was: Tiegigo and I’m completely appalled by how I was treated and spoken to. They claimed there was nothing they could do even though my application wasn’t submitted yet. Which is a lie. I’m disgusted and shaking.

We need express orders to go on first come again.
Why did they change the system? It’s been 2-3 weeks I haven’t been making money. I work in Nevada and orders use to come first come first serve when they were express orders and now all the orders going on round robin which means 1 mins timer orders. People from Sacramento Ca, come here and take all of our orders. This is not fair. Put the system back to how it was. Express orders needs to go on first come first serve so it’s fair for everyone not just a couple people that are taking all the orders.

This app is amazing; the technology Walmart is investing in day by day is incredible. In the future, it would be ideal for delivery drivers to wear vests for safety reasons.
Wait times
The job itself is very easy to get the hang of. I am only leaving this review because I don’t understand why this app offers for us to go do the shopping for the customer. But mostly promotes the pickup option most of my pick up orders are a waste of my time. Too many times have I waited for over an hour just for the order to cancel…

Out of any app I’ve worked this app is amazing yes there are flaws like delivery help at time or tips not equaling pay out but overall the app is very balanced and u can make more than enough of a livable wage if u dedicate 5-7 hours of your day good luck yall!

Asking me to remove my VPN when I'm not even using it for Spark, or for Spark whatsoever.
In my state, to watch videos of a certain adult genre, you need a VPN on. I am not removing my VPN because Spark decided it doesn't like it when I'm not using it while Sparking whatsoever. I don't even have it enabled.

No loyalty for long term workers
I have been working for SPARK since it came to my city about 6 years ago. No infractions. Followed the rules. Minimum cancellations and the system ( Ai) permanently deactivates my account. I appealed it because I used my same ID and have had no cosmetic surgeries on my face and the face recognition said I failed my authentication. I spoke to the CSR department and they said they can’t help me. I sent an email and no response. This app is allowed to deactivate you at anytime for any reason and stop your flow of extra income. Not to mention the freezing & glitches. Very sad that Ai is allowed to dictate your status with SPARK

started 6am ended 7 pm, got 2 orders. don’t receive any orders at the same time other drivers working busy. called support and nothing changed, let me cry
App glitch
I tried to apply when i got to the background check part the app kept glitching and saying retry after doing this over and over i finally closed out the app to try and restart and then it automatically denied me from using the platform even though i hadn’t even finished filling out the info because of the glitch

Nicely done
I 95% love this app! I enjoy how it caters to my preferences when making me offers. I also like the detailed setup the app itself. Customer service is excellent with only a one minute whole time nearly every call. My only complaints are: batched orders sequence cannot be rearranged to accommodate pharmacy pick up. Some of the trips can pay more, especially those far away from the store or your home. Sometimes the directions to apartments, especially are incorrect. I also am unclear on the algorithm for the point system. All in all it’s an excellent app.

Im really enjoying this app. Spark is the best
Flexible and helpful source of income
I wasn’t sure what to expect when joining this app for work however I really enjoy doing it in between teaching classes. I am working on growing my clientele with my one-on-one students so this is definitely a huge help being but I’m a single mom and I can spark at any time while my kids are at school and it has really helped me to get caught up. I make my own hours. And I enjoy the exercise of doing the grocery shopping of course you can do pick ups however I really prefer to do my own shopping for my orders because I’m much more organized and thorough

Gone downhill
It was a great app. I was able to make a living. Since their April update and massive onboarding of new drivers my income got cut in half. Now they are cramming 3 customers into orders. Good luck to the last customer getting cold food when it’s 110 outside and 20 miles away. So many bad changes I can’t list them all here.
