SpotPay is my go-to app for sending money (literally takes seconds) and making payments everywhere. All you need is your cellphone—nothing else. I love the color design and how easy it is to use.
The only issue I’ve encountered is that some phones don’t support tap-to-pay. There have been times when I went through the whole process, only to realize at the end that the feature isn’t available on that device, which is a bit frustrating.
Using it on an iPhone is very straightforward. On Android, however, setting up your card takes a few more steps. While this isn’t the app’s fault, it would be helpful to include a simple tutorial or guide, since many users aren’t tech-savvy and may feel hesitant navigating the setup process.

I took the initiative to promote this app to others, reassuring them that it was legitimate and not a scam. Many people were hesitant at first, but I convinced them to sign up because I believed in what SpotPay could become in the Caribbean market. Unfortunately, the recent changes to the referral program have created confusion and frustration.Previously, the referral system appeared straightforward, offering a small incentive for inviting friends. Now, users must spend $10 before receiving the referral reward. This sudden change has made many of the people I referred feel misled, as they expected to receive the original $1 referral bonus without additional requirements.For a growing market like Trinidad and Tobago, trust is everything. Many people here are looking for a reliable alternative to services like Cash App, especially since not everyone has access to U.S. bank cards or credit cards. SpotPay had the potential to fill that gap and build something strong in the Caribbean. However, limiting accessibility and adding spending requirements before referral rewards are paid discourages new users.If SpotPay wants to succeed in this region, transparency and user-friendly policies are key. Clear communication about referral requirements and better support for local debit card integration would significantly improve trust and adoption.I truly hope the team takes this feedback seriously and works toward making the app more accessible and fair for Caribbean users. Can’t imagine life without it
I love this app. It truly makes my life easier. Sending and receiving money is seamless and fast, and I love the convenience of not having to carry my purse everywhere. Adding money to the card is quick and hassle-free as well. Overall, it’s simple, reliable, and incredibly convenient.
This app literally lies and isn’t functional
I had this app and i shared the app for you know $1 referral code when someone uses your name … well everyone used it and not one single dollar was added to my wallet and also i cant even add money to my wallet because it wont let me select which back and how id like to transfer my money and that is unacceptable to anyone in the Caribbean this is basically the cashapp of the Caribbean well so i thought i cant even add money to the card… so until they fix this problem i will not be recommending or even using this app.
