Great Support Cool App

I reported my issues with the Apple phone and the app, and within three hours I actually received a phone call from a nine year veteran of the company. Totally addressed my issues. I could not be more impressed, very pleasant experience!!

Response from developer

Thanks again for taking the time to write this, mikecg123. Closing the loop on what was behind your original issue: it came from a problem Apple introduced in iOS 26.4 affecting iPhone 14 Pro and newer devices, and Apple's iOS 26.6 is now available and fixes it. We have tested it directly and confirmed the fix. Update your iPhone to iOS 26.6 and make sure you're on SR Measure® 9.2.2 and you should be in good shape from here. Glad the call helped, and thanks for sticking with us. - James Lobbett, Stockpile Reports®

Garbage app. Not worth the money

When I first got the app it worked great. Now everytime I try and measure a pile, I get a warning saying measuring has been halted. Don’t waste your time or money on this app.

Used to be good

Once upon a time, this app worked great. Now it's near constant failed measurements and crashes. I might get a usable measurement out of it 2 or 3 times out of 10 attempts, if I'm really lucky that day.

Continually crashes

Hey guys, I used to use this app some and it worked great but with the new update it seldom ever finishes a scan. It crashes almost every time with a message that it was due to a hardware problem and nothing that I did so if you’re going to continue to charge the money that you do to use this app, you have better get something figured out.

Inconsistency

The app was very helpful and reliable. Now can take 3 tries to get a measurement also very inconsistent with the measurement.

Used to be good

Had no issues with this app last season. Now it will only work 10 percent of the time. Please fix this issue. No green arrow appearing.

Response from developer

Following up here, HintoLimeTostito: this is now resolved. The green arrow not appearing when you walked around a pile was the symptom of an issue in Apple's iOS 26.4 affecting iPhone 14 Pro and newer devices, and Apple's iOS 26.6 is now available and fixes it. Not good

App does not recognize end of pile. I have have circles pile multiple times and it does not stop to calculate.

Response from developer

Thanks for taking the time to share this, mikecg123. The symptom you describe — the app not recognizing the end of a pile or stopping to calculate — is consistent with an ARKit issue Apple has now identified as a core issue with iOS 26.4 ARKit affecting iPhone 14 Pro and newer devices. Apple has developed a fix, now being prepared for release through Apple's standard iOS update process. We expect resolution within weeks. In the meantime, please update to SR Measure 9.1.5 in the App Store — it's the recommended version. — James Lobbett, Stockpile Reports

Preço proibitivo !

O software tinha tudo para cair nas graças de todo profissional de construção civil, mas o preço altíssimo inviabiliza até tentativa de teste. Aguardando alguém copiar a ideia, vender por um preço menor e dominar o mercado.

App Updated and became unusable

App updated automatically and new version is buggy and doesn’t work at all.

Advice

Please add a function to accurately scan bucket cubes. For example the cubes of a loader, excavator or dump truck.

Previous version better

I loved the previous version of this app. After update, App not allowing change of units or to write stockpile name. Previous stockpile names wiped off. I prefer the previous version. I would go back if I could.

Not good

When stockpiles first came out they offered a product that was incredibly accurate. After a few years they’ve updated the app and has become very inaccurate, never will you measure something twice and get the same total. Their customer service has also gone downhill as well as never notifying the use of updates and changes.

Great app

Great visual. Haven’t verified accuracy. I’ve looked long and hard for something like this and works great. Even the free version is great! Definitely recommend this app! Seems to draw down battery pretty fast when measuring large stock piles

Good product and finally at a reasonable price!

I have used this on multiple occasions for quick and dirty takeoffs and have been very pleased with the results! I am confident enough with accuracy to use it for volume take offs on crushing and spoil removal quotes!

Doesn’t work

Good app. It used to work on a new iPad mini now it doesn’t. What’s going on.

Construction stockpiles

Attempted to measure some stockpiles I have around site that I already had an idea of the cubic yards. First app does a good job of using gps to track the general shape/size. Unfortunately the app is completely inaccurate when it comes to amount I know a pile is 20,000 cubic yards the app estimates it at 5000. It’s a good concept but not complete.
