Awful!

It’s very rare to find an app this bad! You can tell it’s old school when signing in, then it just gets worse! Nothing works. The company clearly doesn’t care about this functionality.

App does not load

Not much more to say

Garbage

Simply does not work. Can’t connect to their own hub no matter what.

App

It’s garbage. Steamer works well. The app shouldn’t be offered at all. I contacted support and all they wanted to do was blame the internet signal. My signal is great. The app is junk. Don’t sell it. Makes a good steamer look bad.

If I could give this zero stars I would. It is literally as close to zero percent functional as could be. All this money spent on a steam unit that has no mobile connectivity. Absolute joke!

Worst app

This app never works and when it does the lag is way too long at that time you are better off using the local remote in the shower.

Doesn’t work

I wish I could give this app zero stars. I paid a fortune for this unit and the app is total trash. It can’t be that hard to create an app to enable WiFi with this thing. They need to start over and completely overhaul the app!!!

How do I give this zero stars

I’ll join the choir. The app is absolute trash!

Hello…it’s 2024

Hello Mr. Steam, You seem to be perfectly comfortable with selling a product that simply does not work for several years. While the steam machine is excellent, the app and connectivity are defective and useless. How about fixing it?

This is a well known situation. My authorized installer warned me “the app doesn’t work at all and it’s been that way for years”.

Terrible app

This app is so bad and has so many poor reviews for such a long time that I actually consider it a poor reflection on Apple for even allowing it in the app store.

Harry

Terrible app. Looks like it was designed by your child, but with less functionality. I’m surprised how poor this is relative to how expensive this unit is.

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE

Not reliable

Wish I knew who to contact - never works????

App Loses Connection

App consistently loses connection caused the steam shower to shut off

Garbage!

This is the worst implementation possible. The app almost never connects with the unit and when it does I have to force quit the app and reopen it for it to work. How did the app and required hardware make it past quality control???

Doesn’t work

Just does not work at all

Works with Alexa

The setup was tricky with a known iOS18 bug they fixed, but it works fine after this. The native apps major weakness is only working while on the same WiFi network. No one needs a remote start from a room away, but turning on while coming back from the gym is a huge plus. They have a skill on Alexa that is really the only way to use this, but my main home hub is HomeKit, so I had to go buy an Alexa device JUST for this. Allowing the native app to perform this basic function instead of relying on Alexa (which limits customers) is an obvious needed enhancement.

Worse App and Steam System

My dream unit arrived poorly assembled and non functioning. Got a part shipped. Next, attempted to use this app. Could not set it up. Won’t allow saving password. App quality is like a mentally handicapped high school intern made it by randomly hitting keys on his keyboard.

The wireless connection is very poor. Uses Ethernet.

Useless

Read all the previous reviews and they pretty much sum it up. I attempted to troubleshoot with customer support with no luck. This unit will be returned. Mr. Steam should not sell the unit.

Completely useless

This has to be one of the most frustrating apps and software-to-hardware integrations I’ve ever used. The promise of being able to turn on your steam system wirelessly is incredibly appealing—but it rarely delivers. Come on, guys—you’ve built a great product. Let’s bring the technology up to the same standard and make it reliable in today’s connected world.
