I think they have stolen their money because they are just using AI to solve customer issues and AI will not Race result in issues
They stole my money. I can't even get in touch with them.
The number don't work can't login somebody took my funds so I lost a lot of money with them. Nobody will get in touch with me. Won't even answer back emails or nothing. This is some type of scam I've been with them for years and now my money is all gone.
Service shut down with no notice
I’m the custodian of my child’s Stockpile account. When I just tried to access it, I learned that Stockpile has shut down and transferred the account to Stash. I did not receive any prior notice.
Not so good now
When I first downloaded this app it was awesome!! But in the past year or a bit longer since you guys started charging a monthly maintenance fee, it has gone downhill big time. If you don’t cover your fees in advance you guys pick stock at random and sell it to cover such fees. I don’t like that. How do you decide which one to cash out anyways??
This app is great for someone who doesn’t know about stocks or how they work though.
I think that the people who join now should pay but the ones who already had accounts before the change should still get their accounts free from the monthly maintenance fees.
Since when did you guys offer stockpile debit cards?? I have NEVER seen that as an option before….

Very concerned
This app will not let me get in and edit or update banking info. I just recently went to take my money out of my account and saw that the last four digits of my BANK account were incorrect . And no matter where I click it won’t let me in to edit anything. This is extremely concerning because I just initiated selling off my stock and am waiting for it to show up in my bank account. Well as far as I can tell it’s not going to go to MINE. Stock piles phone number just hangs up on you, and no one replies to email. I’m set to possibly lose a large amount of Money because of this.

Terrible company
They handled there transfer terribly. You could only liquidate ALL your stocks or start paying a monthly fee of five dollars. Ridiculous and makes me dislike and not trust stash either

Cannot get documents
I cannot download tax documents nor account statements. I tried with/without WiFi and/ or VPN. I also did not get 1099 from the money. This is tax season.
Cmon.
This app has gone downhill. I was so happy to find stockpile because of the simplicity and informative nature of the app and the fact that it’s not slimy Robinhood. This app has gone down twice this week. Not showing my portfolio or data . Forever loading . This app has not stayed with the times as well. There is not as many options available and financial tools . Stockpile has been left behind and they don’t even have a customer service line . You guys should have used money you made to upgrade your company. I’m sick of this

Stole money from a little kid. Deceitful. Terrible.
They were going to raise maintenance to a ridiculous level, so I order the full balance to be sold and sent to my account. I known to me, they decided to cancel the order. The amount was very modest, so I didn't notice they never sent it. They have stealing my young son's birthday present from his aunt through ridiculous monthly fees. The app has a lot of login issues and very obvious customer service issues. The amount the stole was negligible in the grand scheme of things, but it doesn't speak well about their ethics.

THEY WONT GIVE ME MY MONEY
DO NOT invest with this company!!!! I opened a custodial account for a minor and now that the minor has reached 21, they REFUSE to convert the account to an individual one. I filed a FINRA complaint. This issue is still ongoing and has lasted since Dec 2025. Go elsewhere!!
Shockingly bad
I can’t believe this has so many good reviews. I tried to set up an account in December (2 months ago) and even though I paid for a subscription and connected my bank account, ID verification never worked. I tried different IDs on different days on different backgrounds on different devices. Just didn’t work. Impossible to get in touch with anyone for help. Finally just heard back and was told they aren’t accepting new customers. No mention of the membership fee. And also no way for me to delete the connection with the bank account. Seriously horrendous experience. Signed up for a similar account on etrade and had zero issues.

Delayed bank Withdrawals
Be prepared to have your cash withdrawals from stockpile be delayed more than five days… it’s happened to me twice… the first time the delay was over 9 days!!!

They started taking charging a membership fee and been trying to close my account. But no one responds toy emails, the chat is fake and there are no live reps, and there are no phone numbers on the website. Need to report them to the SEC!!

Starts charging me without permission for their “membership” I never signed up for, then won’t let me delete my account! Broken links, broken app, stole $50 from me!
BEWARE!!! SCAM!! Unable to cancel
I opened an account in 2017. All the sudden in late 2025 this company started charging membership fees. No warning no receipts were sent just deductions from account. 3 months of this I finally get a first email this is happening. I try to cancel membership through site, won’t let me, try to cancel through email won’t respond, try messaging a representative never shows up. 2 way authentication never sends code. This is a SCAM!!

Forced Membership
Returned to an old account to discover it had been automatically enrolled in a membership program and assets sold to cover the fee. Don’t waste your time. If you “set and forget” they’ll just start charging and hope you don’t notice.
EDIT (2026-01-21, post response to this review): I had already reached out to support and the agent attempted to give me an “exception” of returning two months of membership, both of which occurred after I contacted to request a refund for the first month and made clear that I did not sign up for membership. So, in the end, the “exception” doesn’t even refund the initial month that was the problem, it took them a month to tell me they’d refund the extra two months it’s taken to try to get responses?! Ridiculous. I’ve officially submitted a scam report to Apple. Don’t waste your time, go somewhere else for your trading.

Horrible customer service
My account is restricted and I am told to reach out to support but they don’t answer. They don’t have a phone number. What real company doesn’t have a support phone number? Pathetic, I’m going to use a new service.
