Worthless scam
This just auto-renewed. I subscribed a year ago, but forgot about it because IT DIDN’T WORK. I’m buried in political fundraising emails. Waste if $$$
It really works
I was getting political messages almost every hour. “Friend, you are the last chance to save our nation and I’m an unknown candidate from a thousand miles away. Chip in! Chip in!” It was making me crazy and I knew no way to turn it off, except possibly changing my phone number and losing contact with friends I couldn’t reach. In desperation I threw ten bucks at this app, ten days ago. I can hardly believe the results. Immediately the political messages came to a complete halt. I have not seen one in 10 days. If things change, I’ll come back and let you know, but I’m giving Stop Donation Spam a total and enthusiastic positive recommendation.

No Longer Working
I installed this during the last election cycle and it seemed to work pretty well. I went from getting multiple political spam texts per day to just 1-2 per week. Now I’m back to the multiple per day. So whatever algorithm had been working isn’t any longer. Bummer. Canceling my subscription.
Doesn’t work iOS 26
App worked beautifully until iOS 26. Doesn’t work w/25 and app author doesn’t respond to support. Email. I’d give it a zero if I could.
Used to Work, but no more…
When I first installed this app, it was like a miracle! Donation spam almost stopped entirely. But over the last six months, it seems basically worthless. I am inundated now with political fundraising texts. I spent several months reporting every text I received to the app, with seemingly no effect. Not worth paying for anymore, sadly. Sure wish there was a way to stop these texts that actually worked.

It Works!
Look i was very skeptical and i don’t bother to write reviews- but i was going insane from the accelerating nonsense political spam donation requests. After asking chat gpt a bunch of ways this came up- none of the other options had worked and for $10 it’s done. I have not had a single political spam text in 3 weeks since i joined. I was getting 15+ a day. Best $10 i can recall.

Good at first
I loved this when it first came out. Made a big difference in spam. Now I hardly know it’s there. Not sure why, but getting the same political texts that demand contributions. I won’t renew and I suggest don’t buy it.
It works
I was getting 10+ spam texts a day. So annoying. Since I purchased and installed this app 3 weeks ago, they stopped. Only one leaked through. I mean no more spam texts! Was it worth risking $10? Why not? Does it work? Did for me, absolutely. iPhone 16 Pro.

Hopefully it keeps getting updates now that election season is done. It blocked a ton of junk when the spam was rampant.
Doesn’t work
I keep getting political junk mail every day despite my subscription to this app. Some goes directly to the junk mail folder, which is fine. But not a few political spams sneak in as valid emails or messages. That’s why I won’t be renewing this app.
Don’t use
This did not block any political or solicitation spam.
Works great on iPhone
I was getting so many political donation requests that it was rendering Messages unusable. I read about this in the Joanna Stern’s WSJ Tech Column and gave it a try. I am a little concerned about the privacy implications, but she said the servers do not identify messages. It works great and is worth the risk. I sure hope Apple does something about this. I installed it on Mac OS, but I am not sure if if works or not. I can’t see how to set it up there.

At first didn’t work-Now OK
I installed this app on my iPhone because of a favorable Wall Street Journal article. During the first 2-3 weeks it seemed worthless. There was no decrease in spam political texts, and nothing appeared in the provided Junk and Spam folders.
I also forwarded each unfiltered message to the support site, as requested in the app. I had to email support 3 times over 20 days until I finally received a response. After deleting, restarting, redownloading, and re-installing, I then had to wait several more days before it started to work. I would have given it 5 stars for its level of functioning now, but I subtracted one for slow customer service and the initial glitches.

Bought this also based on the fact it was mentioned in the WSJ and it has filtered zero messages. Literally zero. Vapor ware.

I was getting at least 50 spam political texts A DAY SWEETIE, since well before the election and was hopeful this would help. In the month or so I’ve had it it’s intercepted exactly 12. DONT EVEN BOTHER
Worthless—Does nothing—No support
I downloaded this app on the basis of a favorable Wall Street Journal article and installed it on my iPhone according to the simple directions. In the 6 days I have had it, there has been no decrease whatsoever in the spam political texts in my inbox. I receive 50-50 per day. Nothing has gone to the provided spam folders.
I have also forwarded each unfiltered message to the support site, as requested in the app. I have also emailed support 3 times requesting help and advice, and I have received no reply. So the app is worthless and customer support is nonexistent.

Has not blocked a single text
This product does not do what I paid for. It hasn't blocked a single donation spam. I've gotten no response from many emails to support.
Underwhelming Money Back ?
The insanity of our elections and the text that I received was overwhelming. I thought I saw a glimmer of hope but nope. Worked as good as
