It’s useless
Response from developer
Hi sevi@93, the app works properly and relies heavily on the physical setup at your self-storage facility — specifically how the devices and facility address are configured in the web access platform. That said, your geofence location may not always be 100% accurate, or the facility setup may be incorrect. If you're unable to see the gates in the app, there's an option to retrieve your access code and enter it directly on the gates. In these kinds of situations, contacting your support team is the best option.
Terrible
Response from developer
Hi Teifell, thank you for the feedback. Please be aware that StorID requires permissions such as location, notifications, and Bluetooth to ensure a smooth user experience. The app depends heavily on the physical devices installed at the facility, and all of these permissions are required to establish proper communication between the app and the hardware setup. If you decline any of them, the app is unable to function properly. Please keep this in mind.
Awful
Response from developer
Hi Zigzag Spares, thank you for the feedback. A few questions and updates here. Could you please be more specific about what "system slow" means — what exactly goes wrong while you're interacting with the app? Our development team is laser-focused on customer feedback and works to address the pain points raised. Regarding being logged out of the app, we recently rolled out an enhancement for this, so it shouldn't happen anymore. Could you please verify and let us know?
App is Terrible
The remember me button doesn’t work at all, each time after reopening the app it must be signed into again.
Once signed into the app then doesn’t detect the user in the correct location forcing the app to be restarted to be used.
The app once signed into consistently pulls location data, regardless of the users location meaning it must be closed manually to stop it from remaining open in the background.
Have the devs actually ever used this app themselves?
Response from developer
Hi Coolestcucumber, Regarding "Remember Me," it only remembers your identifier (phone number or email), so you'll still need to enter your password after logging out. As for being asked to sign in again, this usually happens when you're using multiple devices, since only one session is allowed per user at a time — when sessions overlap, one of them is terminated. And on geolocation, the app depends heavily on the physical device setup within the facility and the access platform your operators manage, so this setting is required for the app to work properly. If you have more questions or feedback, feel free to update your review or contact your self-storage staff or PTI Tech Support for further clarification.
Works fine, asks you weekly to rate.
Response from developer
Hello, Frauds already taken. Thank you for the feedback! Once you've rated the app, we won't ask you to do it again. We're glad you're using the app and that it brings some value to your life.
Glitchy
Response from developer
Hello Bearded_Lloyd, and thank you for the feedback. We would appreciate it if you could provide specific details about each bug so our development team can address them.
No Problems
Response from developer
Hi SLOGeo, thank you so much for the wonderful feedback - it really means a lot to us. We're glad to hear you've had a positive experience. Rest assured, our team remains committed to refining the app and maintaining the dependable, top-quality service our customers count on, so your experience only keeps getting better.
App Open
Response from developer
Hello Wheyzfedafgn, and thank you for the feedback. Could you please specify your mobile phone model? And could you please describe exactly what you see when you open the app? Is it the logo that gets stuck, and you are unable to open the app?
Shared Access not work
Also, another time I’m trying to add a friend with UK number, but it keeps switching to US number
Response from developer
Hello Gogoho-ho, thank you for your feedback. When you say "status is Active," could you confirm that the keyshare recipient successfully enrolled the StorID? Also, when you say "my friend can't see anything," could you please specify exactly what is visible when trying to open the app? Regarding the UK/US phone number, when creating a New Key Share Access, you can choose the exact phone number from the dropdown - both the United Kingdom and the United States are available. More description about the issue is highly appreciated by the development team
Have to force quit to disable tracking
Even with “only when using the app” it will run in the background. So don’t give me the whole “we need this geofencing for user experience” nonsense. Just get a location when the app is open at the storage unit and call it done?
Response from developer
Hello succotasha thank you for your honest and detailed feedback. Our product and development teams will review it carefully and explore how we can make improvements.
El PEOR CAMBIO.
Response from developer
Worst app ever
Response from developer
Hello Unhappagain, and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We'd like to better understand what happened so we can assist and investigate further. If possible, please share a few details about the issue you experienced, what you were trying to do, and where the problem occurred. Your feedback helps us identify areas for improvement and deliver a better experience for all users.
Useless
Review
Response from developer
Hello Sanchez Charles, thank you for your review. However, it is not entirely clear to us how the mobile app affected your experience. Could you please provide more specific details about the issue you encountered? We would also like to know whether you contacted the facility staff for assistance. Any additional information you can share will help our development team investigate the situation and improve the overall user experience.
Super inconsistent
Response from developer
Hello GabeWhite_69, and thank you for your feedback. Could you please provide additional details? For example, does your facility use keypads with Bluetooth enabled, and if so, was the equipment setup completed correctly to allow you to detect Access Points in the app from a close distance? Also, instead of reinstalling the app, you can try logging in again or using the swipe-to-refresh action within the app.
Very Slick & Convenient
Response from developer
Hello jd, thank you for your feedback and kind words. We truly appreciate your positive evaluation of our efforts. Our team will continue focusing on improving the application and delivering a reliable, high-quality experience to ensure our customers stay satisfied with both the product and the overall service.
Tracks your location
Update based on the developer response: the developer response is misleading. Geofencing on iOS is event-driven and does not produce the continuous blue navigation arrow I saw in the Dynamic Island hours after leaving the facility. That indicator means the app is using continuous location updates, likely via the location background mode meant for navigation apps. That is not geofencing, and citing legitimate proximity features does not explain sustained tracking long after I had left the geofenced area. Either be straight about which iOS APIs the app actually uses, or stop using ‘geofencing’ as cover for something more aggressive.
Response from developer
Hello olreviews, Geofence-based location tracking is a legitimate and widely used mobile capability. The app relies on it to function correctly with Entry/Exit devices installed at the facility as part of the system architecture. The app transparently requests location access; if declined, a header within the app is shown, and functionality is limited—there is no hidden tracking. For StorID/self-storage access, geofencing is justified as it enables proximity-based features such as detecting when a tenant is near a facility, showing relevant access points, preventing wrong-site interactions, and improving BLE/keypad behavior.

Horrible app
Response from developer
Hello LuvBug8484, thank you for your feedback. It’s not fully clear what issue you’re experiencing. When you say you are stuck at the facility, could you clarify whether you enrolled in the app successfully? Are the entry/exit keypads not visible in the app? Or are you unable to unlock the smart latch on your unit (if applicable)? Any other issues worth mentioning? Please share more details so we can assist.
The worst app I have ever used
Response from developer
Hello TipTopTopCat, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry for the issues you’re experiencing. The system depends on three key components: your iPhone’s location (geofence) settings, the facility’s geofence configuration (which can vary significantly), and the facility address defined in the access control system. If any of these are not set correctly, the issue you described may occur. This is why the app indicates that your location does not match and that you may be too far from the facility. Please contact your facility management team for assistance — they should be able to help resolve this.
