Black screen

I have the same issue that others have stated where when starting a video the screen goes black. If I minimise the picture in picture you can see the video for a second and then goes black again. I actually worked with Support to try and resolve this months ago, but they couldn’t re-create hopefully fix soon as my daughter likes this app and it is a lesser experience going through the browser.

The problem is on an iPad sixth generation on iOS 17
Old iPad touch and iPad mini first generation both running iOS 12 work fine

No video is showing at all in all stories, becomes black screen.

I cannot see all the videos at all but hear the sound. So when ai open the story video, the screen becomes black but the sound is running. My iPad app is up to date. Does it happen to others?.

Not usable

Randomly logs you out. Would be great to have a way to discover books by age range rather than everything being explicitly grouped into different topics. Didn’t manage to even get as far as reading a book.

Need to log in too often and buggy

Takes way too long to login - I sign in through my library account - you can’t search for your library and it doesn’t remember your history. Logs you out often and you have you use your library card number which means I have to go find it.
Trying the app again after a year off hoping it’s improved.
Bugs have been around seeing other people’s saved story lists and it plays content of videos you don’t click on

Response from developer

Hello, thank you so much for your feedback and patience! I'm happy to let you know we've just released an update that makes it much easier to find your library when logging in with your library card, and you'll stay logged in until you choose to log out. We've also resolved some other bugs but if you catch any examples of the others that you mentioned and can send some screenshots to support@storyboxhub.com we'll investigate further. Thank you again from the StoryBox team.
