Black screen
The problem is on an iPad sixth generation on iOS 17
Old iPad touch and iPad mini first generation both running iOS 12 work fine

Not usable
Need to log in too often and buggy
Trying the app again after a year off hoping it’s improved.
Bugs have been around seeing other people’s saved story lists and it plays content of videos you don’t click on

Hello, thank you so much for your feedback and patience! I'm happy to let you know we've just released an update that makes it much easier to find your library when logging in with your library card, and you'll stay logged in until you choose to log out. We've also resolved some other bugs but if you catch any examples of the others that you mentioned and can send some screenshots to support@storyboxhub.com we'll investigate further. Thank you again from the StoryBox team.
Couple of fixes needed, please!
Sadly a few things are missing / needed on the app version.
1. We log in with the library login option and when we quit the app we have to log in again each time we open the app. Our kids can’t manage that on their own and it’s a big hassle. Saving login details is exactly the kind of thing an app should be able to do over a website.
2. Would be nice if the login supported using password managers, but that’s a nice to have and not needed if the app could remember your credentials.
3. The web version has one filter the app is missing. We often use the “Age Group” filter on the website to limit results to “Early years”. That filter is missing in the app’s Advanced Filters section.
4. Where you browse by author or reader you should consider adding names to the profile pictures. I certainly don’t know these people from their photos.
5. You should consider the first tab or main view to be already filtered to “all books” instead of these featured carousels. My kids have to learn to find the second tab and select options etc to find the view of books. The website is a better laid out experience for kids, especially those who can’t read but can visually browse and find the book cover they want.
