Very Helpful

One of the only apps I’m willing to pay for. It really helps track stress and gives me good insight into what will help me.

Excellent companion for Mental State & Physiology Log

Excellent companion for staying on top of physical and mental health.

Inaccurate

Tells me I’m normal when I’m having a panic attack, tells me I’m overstimulated when I’m calm, just doesn’t seem to work at all.

Doesn’t seem to correlate to anything real.

I’ve been using this for a while. At first it was really useful. Now, it tells me I’m “overloaded” throughout the day when I’m feeling perfectly calm and fine. I don’t think this has any correlation to real world data but it’s nice to be reminded to take a breath every once in a while I guess. HRV does NOT mean that you are mentally stressed. It can also mean your body is fighting off something invisible that has no impact on your day to day life. So the data itself is essentially useless.

This app has officially gone from useless to frustrating. It will tell me I’m overloaded when I’m fine and when I go to log reasons, it will “auto log” stressed as a current feeling which I need to change out for peaceful or ok. Today, I was the most stressed and angry I’ve been in a long time and I get a notification on my watch “Wow your stress has gone from normal to great! Keep it up!” I go to log my “reasons” and it auto logs “peaceful”. Peaceful??? I’m ready to throw a chair out a window, don’t give me your peaceful. If I needed more proof that this app is completely useless, I just got it. This app is worse than astrology.

False readings

I left the watch at home on the charger one day and the app still gave me a stress indicator. I can’t believe in it anymore
- even if it is following a pattern. I am canceling the subscription.

Absolute waste of time

I have tested this app as a trial hoping to get some better understanding of my stress levels. Unfortunately either it’s not measuring an actual stress or maybe the name of the app is misleading. I am sitting in the office extremely stressed (my neck hurts and teeth are clenching) and the app is showing that I am not stressed (status: “Great”).

Surprisingly Spot On

TLDR: App is spot on. Baltimore Aquarium and an excursion railroad put this test into perspective and when the stress was felt, the app was showing it. Hasn’t been wrong in the four days I’ve had it. Paying the year after this.

Alright, I’m one who rarely reviews apps, but this one, I had to.

First, I’m thankful they give a weeks free trial. Always thankful for apps who allow a free trial rather than throwing it behind a paywall straight from the beginning, whether that’s 3 days like most, or 7 days like this generous one. It has given me adequate time to decide if I actually want to go for the year as I initially set up or not, and yes, I’ll be paying for the year when this trial is up in 3 days.

Second, I put this app through the wringer and yeah, I’d say it’s spot on. First test, this rural girl decided to go to the Baltimore aquarium that I haven’t been to since high school (school field trip so the bus drove). Omg, I underestimated traffic and the crowds. Seven hours later when I was back in my home state (and home for that matter), I checked the app and laughed. What I felt, was showing in the app clear as day. Many red sections saying “hey, you’re overloaded” and me jokingly thinking “Ya don’t say.”
Second test was today. I wanted to go on a 90min train ride, just a small excursion through the Amish country. Of course my stress was climbing because me and timed tickets do not mix very well. Until my tush is in that seat on that train, I get stressed driving there, trying to find parking, making sure I have the ticket in hand and not through email like it was initially, etc. I could be standing right in front of the train car and still stressing about making sure I’m on it and not having it chug off without me. Checked the app as the train started and yep, from the time I bought them online till the time we started moving, you could see the stress climbing in the app until “you’re doing great” about 15mins into the train ride.

For me, this apps a keeper.

This is so fake

I loved this app until my phone popped up with a notification that my HRV was normal a few minutes ago. My watch is on the charger across the room. This notification was at 13:40pm. My watch had been on the charger since I got up this morning around 8, I haven’t put it back on yet. Curious, I checked and there was a notification a couple hours earlier (11:35am) telling me my HRV level was great. My watch on the charger then also. If this was real how am I getting notifications when my watch isn’t on my body?

Doesn’t do anything

Doesn’t sync with watch and it’s supposed to. Also, you want me to pay money for it to work normally.

Runner and anxious

I take a break when I feel so tired and it’s so good

Keeps you and check

I like it! Definitely make sure your Watch is not an SE. It won't track your sleep or your daylight, but it will track your HRV and RHR it help keeps you in check with your breathing and especially if you have anxiety but then again it's gonna read over a load if you're working out or you just gotta take some things with the grain of salt. Overall, I like it! Eventually, I will upgrade it to a newer watch to get more of the StressWatch features. Oh, and if you're menopause, your bio age is gonna be all over the place and you just gotta take that with the green assault. But you can customize and just add on there. Overall, I like it definitely wasn't!

Does NOT WORK

App keeps kicking me out. Never worked

Everything is Backwards

I have no idea why this does this way with me but it’s always backwards. When it says I’m good or great, I’m usually stressed. When it says I’m stressed or overloaded, I’m usually doing good. I don’t get it! If I hadn’t paid for the year in advance I’d just delete it.
I really think it drains my watch battery as well. Before adding this I didn’t have to charge it but every other day. Now I have to charge it everyday.
