About
WHAT SUBQ CALC IS
SubQ Calc is a reconstitution arithmetic tool. You enter a vial strength (mg), the volume of bacteriostatic water you added (mL), and a target quantity. The app computes concentration, the volume to draw, and the corresponding reading on a U-30, U-50, U-100, or 1 mL tuberculin syringe barrel. That is all it does.
WHAT SUBQ CALC IS NOT
- NOT a clinical research study. The app does not recruit participants, does not conduct studies on human subjects, and does not collect, observe, or analyze user data.
- NOT a medical device. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and does not provide dosing recommendations.
- NOT a consent-gated research tool. There are no participants to consent. There is no IRB protocol because no human subject research is being conducted. The app is a calculator.
INTENDED USE
The app is intended for laboratory and bench work with non-FDA-approved peptide compounds (sometimes labelled "research peptides") that are sold explicitly for non-human laboratory use. Examples include BPC-157 and TB-500. The app helps a bench operator do the dilution math they would otherwise do on paper.
NO DATA COLLECTION

FEATURES
- Concentration math: mg per mL and mcg per mL
- Volume-to-draw calculation in mL
- Syringe reading in units for U-30, U-50, and U-100 insulin barrels, or directly in mL for a 1 mL tuberculin barrel
- Visual syringe showing the draw position against a scale
- Capacity warning when a draw exceeds the selected barrel
- Doses-per-vial quick reference
- Full dark-mode interface
SYRINGE OPTIONS
- U-30: 0.3 mL U-100 insulin barrel (0-30 units)
- U-50: 0.5 mL U-100 insulin barrel (0-50 units)
- U-100: 1 mL U-100 insulin barrel (0-100 units)
- 1 mL TB: 1 mL tuberculin barrel, reads directly in mL
MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
SubQ Calc is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or healthcare provider before making any medical decisions. Research peptides are not FDA-approved for human use. If you are a patient prescribed an injectable medication by a licensed clinician, follow the instructions from your prescribing provider and pharmacist.
BUILT BY A PHYSICIAN
Dr. Oliver Morris, DO, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician. He built SubQ Calc as a clean, accurate math tool for bench reconstitution work. It is a companion to SubQ Pro, the peptide protocol tracker for patients already working with a provider.
