Go to Apple Wallet and click add card. Select transit and then Suica. Load it up and you’re done.
Useful app but the worst UX ever
Been using this app for a year linked to Apple Pay and face id. This software, inexplicably decided on a day I was in a rush to stop using Face ID and lock me out. When trying to reset it asks for name, DOB and a code. No problem I hear you say. The UI doesn’t give any indication as to what order for DOB, what character set and to my horror it wasn’t saved in my passwords on iPhone. Now I can still use the Suica but can’t charge from Apple Pay as I can no longer get in. The support is poor and there is no help onscreen.

Language Problem
Non Japanese speaking people should have an option to change the language in English which is the universal language

It’s only in Japanese it’s so inconvenient and there are so many errors.
Seamless and reliable
Have used this on my past two trips to Japan, added to Apple Wallet. Incredibly easy to top up card from wherever I am via Apple Pay and have never had an issue with getting through the ticket barriers.

So The App works Perfectly fine and Better the competitor The app and the Card has improved since 2024 Praise Jesus But Yes The App works Great for foreigners All you have to do is Google Translate the app screen shot it’s super easy takes 5-10 minutes of your time that’s it. Overall The app Is great And a life saver And Currently Works Great as of May 2026 So do not pay attention to Rating I’m telling you guys it works great and honestly better than the competitors.

Unusable due to errors.
I’m getting constant N004 and N009 errors trying to purchase a commuter pass. My connection is perfect with every single app, so don’t tell me to check my environment. The app is broken and I cannot use it for the single solitary reason I have it.

Not for anyone who doesn’t know Japanese
Everything is in Japanese. There are SOME screens where you can select convert to English. But not many and all the other screens are a guessing g game. MAKE ONE IN ENGLISH please.

Ihr müsst die App laden und dann direkt zum Wallet und auf das "+" drücken, dann "ÖPNV Karte hinzufügen" und so könnt ihr die Suicard hinterlegen und aufladen ohne dass ihr die App nutzen oder Japanisch lesen müsst. Viel Spaß
