What's New in Surfacing

1.3.2

August 3, 2026

Report export overhaul: - Exporting no longer freezes the app. A progress overlay shows each stage. - Every export gets a Report ID (R-XXXX) shown in the app, in the password message, and on the file, so the password always matches its file. - The unlock page accepts lowercase typing and pasted messages, and tells you if a file was damaged in transit instead of saying "incorrect password". - Fixed importing older backups. Also new: 200 more feelings in search, plus a grief and bereavement section.

Great Tracker

This has been a great way for me to log my triggers in the moment they are happening so that I can remember them in better detail when I talk with my counselor. It also is great at reminding me of grounding techniques to help while I’m logging the symptoms.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the kind words. Hearing that Surfacing is helping you capture triggers in the moment, and that the grounding reminders are landing, is exactly what I was hoping for when I built it. Wishing you well in the work you're doing with your counselor.
