Confusing lots of bugs
The app wont let me create an account, let alone get a weekly pass. when i click forgot password and it send me the code theres no spot to type in code.

Honest. Parked there for less than an hour, got a ticket. Actually what the heck does this do except deter people from coming to the beach. You and other companies that do this are the reason why beaches and fun places are no longer fun. Terrible thing you’ve done by being here. Please take down your signs and let the parking be free again. I beg you.

User Beware / Avoid if Possible
Be very careful parking in a place run by SurfCast (Otto Connect). Park somewhere where if possible. I paid for parking and still got a violation based on a technicality. Most of the other cars I saw nearby also had violations on their windshield. Seems like they use predatory enforcement.
Not as good as others…
I usually use ParkMobile in SC…this system is not as user friendly. Wish it could add features in looking up its different parking zones. Honestly there is not much of a point to getting the app…the app doesn’t provide any additional ease of use by using the app so just scan the QR code on the parking sign when you park…pointless app.

Feels like an app made as an middle school tech project. Not user friendly, no Apple Pay, no way to extend, search zone numbers, and many other flaws.
Very difficult to use this app
The sign up process is VERY FLAWED as I am UNABLE to get a login. I followed all directions multiple times and none are working and I have been using an iphone for literally 20+ YEARS.
App is not policy!
The whole grifting by oak Island with parking fees is a separate topic. In its favor, the app has remembered me now for a year, my CC and car plates. Many other such apps “forget” these and force me to re-tap them in.
Surfcast via NC beach parking. Sent straight to collections
This app works fine. Confusing. But fine. However the establishment that profits from it are a huge disappointment. If you fully link up they provide ample notification about how long you have until your car cannot be parked anymore. However if you have for some reason received a citation for parking, there is absolutely no notification via tech or standard mail. And if your lucky enough to have received a paper ticket you can pay it. If you wait until the next day the price doubles. If you never received a paper ticket via the wind or under qualified individual who wrote it didn’t actually leave it. Then you will be in collections about if for notification.

Absolute Junk.
Like so many reviewers before, I attempted to register and the app disappeared from the screen when I tapped the register button. Not a pleasant user experience at all. Fail.
Maybe the developer doesn’t have quality assurance procedures in place? Maybe they’re not into testing their code? Doesn’t matter. It’s amateur hour with this app. What a waste. If I were the city paying this developer, I’d cancel the contract and demand the developer pay back the public’s funds for this abysmal app.

A Bad App in Every Way
This app is not intuitive to use and the interface design is amateurish. The worst feature in my view was being forced to create an account to simply use the validation code that my restaurant had provided. Using the code required me to enter the code in one module of the app and then “pay” for (overpriced) parking in another. Three interactions with the app is too many steps requiring too much time. From a designer’s view the app shows little consideration for the user experience and even less care about the app’s interface design. The images colors and typography are bland and the overall design has a Web 1.0 vibe. If you’re at a location and see this app’s icon displayed on the sign, find another (cheaper) place to park.

App Fails to Work and You Pay the Fine
Expect multiple failures trying to pay for $4 parking when using this poorly written application. But don't worry - if you turn your back you'll get a $25 ticket. And when you send the support team the screen shots of the app failures, rather than reward you as unpaid support for their bad software, you still have to pay the parking ticket. Obviously management has invested more $$$ in the team that writes tickets than the team that writes the software.

Way to make an app that makes paying for a service the most imposible thing I. The planet.
Your input validation breaks all password managers so you encourage terrible passwords be user you don’t support cut/paste because every time you touch a field the poorly written program caused they keyboard to launch and go away and launch and go away while you try to tape and hold to select paste.
This doesn’t have to be that hard. But they sure work at making it so

Terrible app
I downloaded and try to pay for parking in Holden Beach. The app constantly froze and did not let me continue in the app. I stood in the hot parking lot entering my information. Finally just scanned the QR code and it worked better than the app. The app did instantly show the my parking purchase.
Awful company
They use employees to write false citations so people have to download and pay on their app. Terrible company just a big scam.

Been trying to pay this ticket before 12 am. Nothing is working. I downloaded app put information In choose password word and it goes no where
Update - got a refund, but still.
You have to use the app to pay for parking. It is glitchy and won’t actually allow you to pay. Then they charge you $25.
Update: Got a refund when I appealed. Hope the app can work better. Call and pay by phone when it doesn’t work.
