I have a very specific notification setup for my SwitchBot devices, with promotional notifications turned OFF. Yet the app is still pestering me every couple of weeks about some new AI nonsense feature.
Croping doesn’t work on ai frame
Can’t even use ai frame because it would load a whole image. My head is cut off in every image I upload

Never ending randomly appearing back to back bugs for years now rendering app and devices useless: Automations stopped working; Incorrect temperature readings; buggy 3rd party integrations; keeps logging me out; most rep help is incompetent.
**YES: delete/re-ad didn’t solve; every type device software/firmware is confirmed updated.

K11+ missing spot clean shortcut
It’s small and compact but missing some key functionality like an easy spot clean shortcut or spot clean automation.

Hilariously bad, feels like an intern vibecoded the whole app while on a toilet. Buggy and sloppy - devs have no shame

Integration of sensors and data uploads needs addressing
App works well, but there are quite a few steps to link the devices to matter. Where the app and hardware falls down is when temperature sensor data only uploads when you select it in app. This should be uploading via the hub mini, but it's not working. Looks like it may be a bug. Once fixed this will be a decent app experience. It would be nice to see robust app support for Apple Watch, so there is less reliance on the iPhone.

After an update schedules need refreshing
I have found that updates most of the time make the app forget about schedules. The schedule for an action have to be refreshed manually. Kind of annoying even though it’s usually pretty reliable

We’re not asking for AI junk. If you keep adding it then I’ll close my account and subscription. No one is asking for this!
No shortcuts without hub
Felt kind of cheated that I needed a hub to use this with shortcuts and that there’s no widgets. I understand that I need a hub to use it over wifi but I see no reason for a shortcut or widget to be available and have it work when in Bluetooth range and fail with a notification when not in Bluetooth range.

Bien sauf pour les k10 et k11
J’étais contente quand je n’avais rien d’autres que les hubs et sondes de température mais j’ai acheté le dernier petit aspirateur le k11+ et la gestion des cartes n’est pas très pratique. C’est super compliqué et chronophage de diviser les pièces avec leur outil qui ne veut jamais pivoter quand je le souhaite. Même si le support SwitchBot m’a expliqué qu’il fallait utiliser les ronds des extrémités de la lignes afin de la faire pivoter. Sur smartphone, il faut donc penser à bien zoomer pour y poser le doigt 😅Alors je croise les miens chaque fois qu’il y a une mise à jour. De plus la page support pour la série k est inexistante OUPS 404 not found donc c’est difficile de les joindre pour poster un commentaire sur le produit.

J ai soumis 2 bug pour les lampes et un pour le cadre photo et le support a fourni un nouveau firmware corrigé en moins d une semaine. Vraiment top et a l ecoute. Tres bons produits. Merci!
Device names resets breaking HomeKit automations
The SwitchBot hub keeps resetting device (blinds) names such that it breaks HomeKit automations. The relay devices WiFi cannot recover from disconnection inside app and requires a power cycle
Doesn’t work with Siri
It’s not as advertised that you can set up Siri Shortcuts. Not at all!

Generates ads traffic to imasdk Google at night which appears on screen time

Updating my review, there are looped processes in the customize section.
Update stinks
Last update killed matter support it now removes from matter on its own. I set it up again and unlinks itself.
Poor interface for the security cameras
The app is useless for security cameras. Poor connectivity with the outdoor security cameras and makes reviewing recorded events very difficult.
Siri Shortcuts busted
Latest update breaks all your hard work setting up Siri Shortcuts. They show but don’t actually work.
Upgrade messed up
No DST support?!?! All my schedules messed up.
