The app is completely useless. Bloated unintuitive and the offered options don't work. The customer support is completely based on AI and tone-deaf to requests

I like the sensors but the app sucks and they're trying to shove AI down your throat. I'll be switching to home assistant, and doubt I'll buy another one of their products.

Unfinished
The switchbot hub 2 device is great but this app is simply unfinished. Widgets don’t work - I can’t select which device for the temp and humidity meter widget. And the stupid AI thing needs to be disabled. I could vibe code the rest of this app and they can’t even be bothered doing that. What am I paying for with these devices??

Can’t remove kata
I have KATA turned off in Module Display Settings but it’s still there on the home screen. Why on earth would you people think I need AI to turn my lamps off and on?

WTAF? I have no wish to have an “AI Assistant” in the form of a puerile comic avatar taking up 20% of my homepage, but there’s no option to get rid of it. This is a stupid and intrusive update which markedly reduces the app’s usability

Getting worse and worse
I used to tolerate this app, and I’ve used it together with many sensors to monitor and track sensitive environmental data for sample storage, but I do not want a cloud, do not need their BS Ai assistant (like, why?!!), and just need basic, privacy focused solutions for environmental monitoring. The addition of AI was the last straw. I’ve just ordered all new sensors from a different vendor and will be dropping these ones in the trash as soon as they arrive, and deleting the app.

Easy to use
I bought two curtain 3 for my bedroom and I loved them so much I brought 4 more for my living room. Super easy setup. Quick sync with Alexa. Exceeded my expectations.

I have a very specific notification setup for my SwitchBot devices, with promotional notifications turned OFF. Yet the app is still pestering me every couple of weeks about some new AI nonsense feature.

Can’t even use ai frame because it would load a whole image. My head is cut off in every image I upload
