The roof keeps a little chat with so bubble on the screen at all times but when you use it it says “your plan doesn’t have this feature”
Blocks vpn now. Poor update
With the update they suddenly don’t allow VPN. There’s no reason to block users who have vpn. Can’t use the app or the website. I refuse to turn off my security for any app or website so it’s unusable and has to be uninstalled now. Thinking about simply switching my plan this is useless change.
App never works
App never works even after calling call center.
Nothing opens
The app is terrible! I try to check messages it says I have and I get the buffering circle of doom. I try to check my claims and nothing happens at all. It was working fine until recently, so I thought maybe my app became corrupted. I deleted it completely then downloaded it again from the App Store. Same problems. It’s absolutely worthless.

Joke level bad
Can’t add ID cards for my children to my wallet … cites a lack of permission… from my 3yo?? Most basic feature is garbage. The app also loads webpages which take over the app and the only way to get out of it is to close the app completely and start over. It’s a wrapper for a website but actually worse.

Non-functional
The app only works when it wants to. The accordions sometimes don’t work. The request callback just spins until you close the app. I let it spin one day for 5 hours. There is no notifications of when an authorization request is made, when a request is appealed, when a claim is filed. It all goes into a black hole. It takes forever for the app to load. The transition from one screen to another is done at 1992 speed.

It’s a good app but right now it’s horrible can’t sign in deleted the app and still doing the same thing why do I have to call for help when I’m signing in with the correct information
Really bad UX design
I asked the AI assistant to give me an option to renew my spouse’s health insurance and it pushed me to the Anthem insurance plans page, which has no relevant information, and without option to get back to the chat. The content in Anthem website is also super limited. Cannot find basic features in their app and website is the most frustrating thing.

Links close ability to chat
The app is ok but when your chatting with a live representative and they share a link with you if you click on the link you leave the chat ad go to the link in the app. Your conversation that was extremely long now disappears and you have to start all over with a new representative and you have to sign in again on the website. They need to open the link in a different browser or application so you can continue your conversation without waisting hours of your time!

This app is broken and complete garbage. Nothing actually tracks and when you go to select anything in a menus the text is white on a white background. Don’t waste your time with this garbage app.
Bone density test review
Please help me resolve this matter for my bone density test coded as preventive care and at some point the coding is incorrect. My doctor has provided the information and I’m still being billed. Thank you for your help in resolving this matter. Bone density test Billing for Washington Hospital was on March 4, 2026.

Can never get anything to load on this app, have to close out and reload over and over just to see dropdown options for care, makes finding anything about my plan way more frustrating than it needs to be.

App meh, human help poor
App does app stuff mostly normally, but the people on phone and chat support waste your time with 10-15 minutes of “checking info” and then no real help… of a company changes my premium i expect notice before the charge is made and i expect the reason for the charge to be clearly visible on the app afterwards. This did not happen. What a waste of 2 hours to learn their support is bad

The whole app is a mobile website wrapper and it shows
The user experience in this app is the absolute worst I’ve seen in a longtime. Seems you cannot call them anymore so you have to use the app, which I understand, but this app is one of the most frustrating experiences. Embedded iframes everywhere that make a glitchy laggy experience at every turn. Inconsistent scroll between all pages. One of the most infuriating and clunky forgot password experiences of all time.
The medical chat bot? Good use of tech and a genuinely useful feature however the execution is a 1/10 for me.

Never works
The app is very slow and when I try to search for providers the page never loads
App Doesn’t Work
I have been trying to use the Find Care feature for the last week and it never loads. Then I try to use other parts of the app and those don’t load either. I am on WiFi, have good signal, and all my other apps work. This is very frustrating when you’re trying to find care for yourself and you can’t. This is beyond frustrating. App Devs, please help!
