Barely functional yet you have to pay for it!

As a DIGITS subscriber, we pay for additional phone lines. This app should be avoided if at all possible. Like most, you don't have a choice and didn't know what you were getting into I switch to hardline to a DIGITS line instead of having two phones you can't switch them back, beyond that the app is extremely unreliable even for phone calls and voicemails. Sending, and receiving pictures is almost impossible or takes a very long time I have a business and personal line with three lines total with T-Mobile.
Call overall service is spotty at best with missed phone calls, voicemails that take hours or days to come in. Clients complaining I don't call them back because I never get their caller Voicemail in the first place.
Have spent countless hours for tech-support, doing net, work, resets and updates everything you can think of. It helps for a few days, maybe a few weeks and then back to the old issues. Tmobile uses every trick in the book to reduce your net work bandwidth.
I regret switching from Verizon years ago. Yes, I have a new modern phone which was purchased through T-Mobile. It was supposed to be replaced under warranty, but these jokers sent me a used refurbished phone to replace my business account phone. Ridiculous! I denied it obviously. Not risking switching. Another phone over and losing important data like in the past. Which included RIP my fathers voicemails. What's worse is I specifically asked the Tmobile Tech in person at the store? It was assured the voicemails or transfer over. They did not.
T-Mobile service is so bad that even technical support advises not using 5G. So I keep my phone on LTE. Well, Tmobile customer and tech-support sounds really good over the phone and they are nice. The end result is the same poor service. Are used to pay 150 a month now it's 100 for a single hard line. To minimize transfer issues I will likely get a new hard line with a another provider and slowly switch over. Sorry for the rant, but Tmobile needs to stop wasting so much advertising money and actually provide good cell service on the world's best 5G network that apparently even tech-support recommends not using. After seven years and who knows how much lost business contacts and everything else I guess I am the fool for trying so hard! I'm probably preaching to the choir as anyone using DIGITS is on the T-Mobile net work, and knows this all too well probably...šŸ™„

Texts messed up

I’ve been using Digits for several years. It was great at first. Since then my text messages get rearranged or cut off after a couple of lines when the recipient gets it. Recently they have not even been delivered.

Terrible App

App never works and the web client isn’t even up anymore

It’s As Bad As the Reviews Say

I thought I’d give this service a try despite the consistent low reviews on the App Store. After five attempts to log in, during each of which the app crashes with a generic ā€œwe’re having some difficultiesā€ error message, I give up. I suppose it’s T-Mobile’s choice whether to advertise Digits or deprecate it, but it’s wild that they’ve effectively chosen to do both.

Login problems

The app doesn’t even allow me to login. I go through the process keeps coming back with a error to try again restart reinstall and call 611. The app does not function does not allow me to go into DIGITS apparently they have major problems. It’s been like this for more than two months it started an early May 2026 and here we are already in mid July 2026, and I guess this will continue

Doesn’t work

Hasn’t worked for two years

Digits is one of the most unreliable apps released by t mobile

I’ve been a T-Mobile customer for years, but the Digits app is easily one of the worst products they continue to offer. At this point, it feels more like an abandoned beta project than a service customers are expected to rely on.

The app constantly requires me to log out and log back in—sometimes multiple times every month—just to get it working again. If you depend on Digits for business or important personal communication, that’s simply unacceptable.

Incoming text messages are frequently delayed or never arrive at all. Even worse, outgoing text messages often fail to send without any meaningful explanation. You never know whether your message actually reached the recipient, making the app completely unreliable for everyday communication.

Oddly enough, photos usually send without much trouble, but multimedia files consistently fail. If you need to send anything beyond a simple picture, don’t count on Digits. Attachments routinely fail, making the app useless for sharing documents or other media.

What’s most frustrating is how little progress has been made over the years. The app rarely receives meaningful updates, and many of the same problems that existed years ago still exist today. It gives the impression that T-Mobile has simply stopped investing in it while continuing to market it as a viable service.

If your phone number is important to you, don’t trust Digits to handle it. You’ll spend more time troubleshooting than communicating. I’d honestly recommend paying for a competing service rather than relying on Digits. A communication app should be dependable, and unfortunately, Digits is anything but!

Unusable

The app is pretty much unusable as it crashes when logging in.

Messages won’t send

Messages won’t send through the app whether it’s using LTE or WIFI. Other people’s messages aren’t received either. I’ll just have an empty bubble with a round around that asks me to resend or reload message.

Complete garbage

This app is complete garbage and decides when it feels like working.
Trying to send an image, good luck, trying to receive an image good luck. I have never been so unimpressed with an app before in my life and makes it extremely difficult to do business with. I hugely regret setting this number up for my business line and I’m trying to figure out a way to switch it

Terrible

It disconnects the lines you have set up so often. If you are not constantly checking to see if they are still connected you will miss call and texts. App has been out for quite a while. I’m surprised that they haven’t done anything to fix it.

Broken login on iOS

Unable to login when password included dashes on iOS 26. Application hangs after entering password and has to be killed.

The WORST!!

Adding this as a business line was the worse mistake. Call drop. Texts of 160 characters send in separate texts that aren’t even in order. Constantly having to delete and reinstall. Absolutely the worst!!

No longer works on newer iPhones

I have the latest iPhone but the app won’t let me login. I thought this would be useful for business purposes but it has failed to deliver.

Not great

Messages are not reliable and interface is worse than Google Voice. Why is this?

Unresponsive

I can’t even log in due to app freezing at log in screen. Does this thing work? Hello McFly….

Awful

This app has ruined my life

Failed product

I use this as a business line. It’s bad. I know ai miss call, can’t text can’t receive calls or texts all the time.
I was told to offload it to re-install it by their tech support. I asked about my contacts, texts chains, etc. I was told it’s ā€œin the cloudā€ and will be able to get it back after delete and reboot. Well, that didn’t happen. Lost it all.
That was last year. It’s been consistently sporadic. I recently asked if I could move it to a regular cell line…they said yes, but the data, texts, contacts would not transfer over. I feel perpetually stuck in the mud of this DIGITS. I can think of a ā€œdigitā€ right now about my low level of satisfaction.

Awful

Yeah…I got a digit for you T-Mobile.

It’s a very unreliable, poorly designed app. Customer service is abysmal. Fix it T-Mobile.
