Used to be great - not anymore
I’ve been a user of Tada for rewards for a few years now and have referred 3 people as well. I never had any problems up until this past month or two, it makes me verify my phone number again for verification but I can’t do that when the text won’t come through. I have tried at least ten times. If I can claim the rewards or even utilize the app again, it would be worth a rating of more than one star. As of now it is a useless waste of time.

No instructions how to upload and scan receipt. I don’t link my accounts because I don’t shop online. Horrible app do not recommend.
Scan and earn not working
Once again scan and earn is not working. The rest of the app is amazing though!
No Customer Service
I have two purchases that I never got credit for. I have submitted a request and never received a response back. One was for 12% back from Home Depot. I spent $353 and never received anything and the other was HSN for which I only received half the rebate. So I don’t purchase anything else through this app

Wish I could give it zero stars
Tried to sign in with Swagbucks but it only gave me an option to sign in with a password which I did not use to sign in so I clicked on forgot password and it I gave me an option to login in with google or apple tried clicking on google and it did nothing then clicked on apple seemed liked it logged me in but it didn’t it just opened the Swagbucks home page and wouldn’t let me do anything so I press the back button and it took back to the password sign in page and now every time I click forgot password it takes me back to the Swagbucks page until after a couple of times then I gave me a error page

The app has not been awarding Swagbucks when using Scan and Earn, even though it says the proper product was scanned.

Great app but I wish it had more options for online accounts such as Amazon and Instacart.
Broken and Deceptive
Updated April 2026: Still broken. Support does not acknowledge that the problem is server-side and not a user issue given how widespread it is in reviews and social media posts. At this point, I can only conclude either total incompetence or intentional deceit to avoid paying users for tasks completed. Avoid.

The Treasure Hunt (Boost) feature, arguably the most important aspect of the app, is completely broken. Despite relying on location data, 90+% of the time it lists store locations miles away but not the one actually present at (though that store would be listed if you travelled away from it lol). Recently, even when the feature was able to be used, the promised rewards were never given. Over the past few days, the feature doesn’t even load properly at all.
The app does not deliver on what it promises to offer.

Boost is Broke
Scan & Earn has been broke for weeks. Tapjoy does not work consistently. The high star rating is from ages ago. What’s the point in app?!?

Bad URL
When I go to cash out my earnings it says BAD URL. When I try to tap get help it says bad URL. Please fix this. It has happened in the past as well.
Not working…AGAIN
Scan and earn is not working, again. This happens often and is the sole reason that I keep the app. Probably not for much longer if you don’t fix it.

What is the point of this app if it DOES NOT SCAN LINKED ACCOUNTS FOR POINTS!? That’s it’s only job (though you can snap paper receipts too, I guess but I didn’t get this app to scan for paper receipts because that is the entire premise of the Swagbucks magic receipt. It’s redundant.) I downloaded to scan digital receipts and I know I have over 10 receipts Fon Walmart app but it does not even recognize it. I tried to form a ticket after talking to the unhelpful bot but it took me in circles and never allowed me to get to the actual creation of a ticket. RUN FROM THIS APP bc it’s a complete and utter WASTE OF TIME AND PHONE SPACE!!!

They never pay you when redeeming a product. Only 2 and 5 cents. Anything above that, forget it. I will be deleting this app
Would give zero stars if I could.
I have used this app for 2 years just on receipts. For some reason now every time I ailt a receipt with the correct item it is denied. I have contacted company three times. As I would be able to finally cash out but no reply or a standard blanket email reply saying they will get back to within a month. It’s a scam. Don’t use! Will be adding to their complaint list with the bbb! (There are several)
