Plus iPlayer from abroad as the apps think you are still at home in the uk . Put on phone and those public Wi-Fi are now safer as you use encrypted link to home

Exit node does NOT work
Exit node set on Apple TV correctly but it’s IMPOSSIBLE to choose it on the app (iOS and MacOS). It does show up on the admin console however.

Diese App wird hier viel zu wenig rezensiert! Ich nutze Tailscale schon seit Jahren und bin sehr dankbar dafür. Zuhause habe ich reines IPv6 Internet und obwohl dieser Standard schon „alt“ gibt es nicht viele die damit klarkommen. Bei Tailscale geht das ohne Probleme, die Probleme mit der Akkulaufzeit kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, bei mir ist alles schick. Auch die Konfiguration der Clients ist super, per Standard laufen die Gerätekonten automatisch ab und können sich dann nicht mehr verbinden, dies kann aber über die Webseite angepasst bzw. administriert werden. Hier spreche ich eine klare Empfehlung aus. Für einfache Aufgaben reicht die Free-Version aus. Vielen Dank an die Entwickler und Distributoren.

Deployed to a docker-only env
Was a monster to initially setup but with a solid Traefik layer it works a treat both on and off Tailnet while at home.

Application extrêmement simple à configurer sur tous ses appareils. Seul petite fonctionnalité que j’aimerais voir rajouter c’est un widget avec la liste des matérielles connectées au réseau tailscale.

I have had little to no real issues with Tailscale the battery drain is insane but I personally cannot think of o better way to fit that.
Great with some minor issues
Tailscale is an amazing service for securely accessing services on my home network while on the go. I use it on both my phone and laptop. I have a few small issues with the app.
The battery drain is a little ridiculous which deters me from using it on my phone.
Additionally the VPN on demand settings are fantastic, except for when I have a one off use case where I want to ignore them. I should be able to turn the VPN on and off as I please and have it override the VPN on demand settings. And when I turn off VPN on demand for these one off situations, my settings should be saved. It’s very frustrating that they are lost as soon as the app isn’t the primary one open.

the many countless amounts of time i have foolishly wasted upon pleasing my needs and pleasures, spiking and burning up the systems of dopamine, increased aggressiveness and lack of self-respect i have brought upon myself when i am not near the supposed ‘tavern’. the many amounts of devices i took with me, for the sake of convenience to watch the text flow by in each prompts typed, waiting for a satisfying response. the many sins i committed that pushes me away from Him, He fears his creation and cries in anguish for every hour spent on the amounts of lust. it sickens me to watch the memories flow. regrets and pain “just wanting to be silly”. i am a stain, i am destined for the deepest layers of inferno. 5 stars tho, because this was good for that one time someone recreated flappy bird on node.js and i used this app to let me play it on my phone.

Please add on-demand exit node functionality!
I love this app and the VPN, but I can’t effectively automate the enabling/disabling of my exit node on my devices (especially this app). If you all added on-demand functionality for exit nodes like you did for the VPN, that would be awesome!
Great tool
I use this with my home based Pi-Hole DNS server, and to secure and lockdown my home server, paired with a mullvad exit node this service is incredible. I have noticed some increase in battery drain but that is to be expected. It’s not over the top in any way. My wife hasn’t noticed anything on her device.

Unable to connect
I tried deleting the app, resetting network settings, soft reset, and app is not able to link to my windows PC during installation process unable to link the devices. Very common iOS bug that is making it not connect. Everyone talks highly but unable to verify or get it going. Will adjust once iOS bug is resolved.

Literally the best
This is an absolute game changer. Tailscale allows me to access my home PC on any WiFi without any of the port forwarding stuff. 5/5 Stars
Latest update drains battery
I love tailscale but now, with latest update, my iPhone runs hot and drains the battery. Disabling tailscale and my battery drain issues are gone. Please try to address this.

Only option I would like to see is push notifications for when Machines disconnect and connect.
