Worst rate ever
They exchange your money with very very low rate ever and exchange in the market charge you that its soo bad and its the only option that we got in the mean time to send money back home .
Stay away
One if the worst service you will encounter, and fact that they are unprofessional and unhelpful will just stay there. They requested a document dated within the last three month , as i provided then they said no that means i have to provide full bank statements for last three months it was xaliimo who was very good at speaking somali but unfortunately thought she knows english better. I have all this written in email.

The rates for MKW dropped from one day to the next day for more than 50%

Out of a sudden they have changed the rates for MWK. Very poor rates. Does not make sense to use TR now.

Regarding transfer
Most of the remit agency deliver the money within a 5 minutes nowadays but talk remit is taking ages. I have sent the money to nepal but its not delivered yet. Its been 5 hrs but i haven’t heard any good response from the team.
Not effective.
This app has constant error codes. And is not reliable. It won’t work. And customer support just doesn’t seem to knowledge the problem. I’ve been sent back and forth between my bank and talk remit. It worked before then all of a sudden it’s just not working without clear reasons. Talk remit will tell me to just wait. I’ve waited weeks. Still nothing. Terrible experience with the app. I can’t even add a card to the wallet anymore. Would not recommend.

I tried to top up my account using 2 credit and one debit card from 2 different banks. It didn’t work and I was redirected to customer support. The employee chatting with me first claimed that I’ve had exceeded my attempts the previous day and after I told him that I haven’t attempted anything that day he just said that I should contact my bank. I explained to him that I doubt that the problem is with two different European banks, but with Talkremit itself and asked him to kindly find and solve it. Then he just said the same again-to contact my bank.

Too much delay.
They charge service fees and delay your money for no reason. I’ve been using them for a year and every time they delay the transaction.

I am a regular user of this app and has always been handy for me and my family. Excellent and exceptional service at all times. Customer service agents are also very supportive and understanding. I will always recommend this app to anyone.

Absolutely terrible they have just changed sending fee from £1.99 to £3.50. . That is terrible over night that is theft
I don’t recommend this app
Sending money to mobile wallet takes 5 minutes on every other similar app. It’s been 5 hours and messaging with customer service for 4 hours and still haven’t received the money. All I get is an apology and that there are technical issues with my transaction. I will not use their services ever again once I leave Malawi.
