Very disappointed with WorldRemit’s customer service and lack of responsibility.
I made one transfer of $600, but for some reason the transaction was duplicated and two identical payments were sent to the same recipient. I contacted WorldRemit as soon as I realised what had happened because I only intended to send the money once.
What has been most frustrating is that I have not been given a proper solution. I was first told there might be a possibility of recalling one of the transfers through the receiving bank, but afterwards I was told that because the money had already been delivered, there was nothing they could do and that I should contact the recipient myself.
This is extremely disappointing. My concern is not simply that I changed my mind after sending money — I am disputing why a duplicate transaction happened in the first place when my intention was to make only one transfer.

Finally something that works.
I’ve been trying to send money to my friend in the Philippines for a while now, and WorldRemit makes the process easy and transparent. Not only that, I love the way the User Interface looks.
