Beware on their Money holding scheme
This app will hold your money due to KYC (understandable) but after you complied they will hold your money until you forget it and they will not give any assurance whether they can still process the payment or do a refund to you. The agents via will say different things to you like you got most unfortunate circumstance that all banking error happened. Use the app but be vigilant and patient enough not to get frustrated. No proactive approach to customers you have to ask why is your payment is pending that’s the only time they will tell you what is going on!

I needed to send money for a family emergency and it never made it. I began receiving emails that I needed to provide my social. After the fact that I already provided my social and my ID on the app. I believe that the agents that work for this company are scamming users. I am still working on getting my money back. They do not care about their users. It makes me very upset, knowing I should’ve used another app I still made the terrible decision to use this one. Never again, I do not recommend. Use BOSS

Account deactivation
Deactivated my account for no reason. I barely use the app and only for emergencies, just found out they closed my account and didnt even provide a reason.
When World Remit requests verification documents
I find it extremely frustrating when trying to send pdf verification documents. I continually get the message that it was unable to upload. I have spent way way too much time trying to do this! I’m very unhappy about this!

Do not use this company, it’s not delivering money to recipients.
Some time ago, I sent money to someone in extreme urgency, they did not deliver, then I sent again canceling the first transaction hoping I will get the refund back.
I never got the refund for cancelling the amount and on top even 2nd transaction was never delivered. When called they said they’ll look into it. Over a year I never got my money back.
You won’t see your money delivered and then you will be left with 1000 excuses.
Do not use this company, it’s not delivering money to recipients.

Very Disappointing and Unreliable Service
Very disappointed with this app and its service. They promised my transfer would be completed within one hour, but even after several hours the money was still not received. This was an urgent Eid transfer for my family, and because of their delays my family had to wait for shopping and important expenses.
This is not even my first bad experience with them. Repeated delays, poor communication, and false promises have completely destroyed my trust in this service. A money transfer company should understand how important timely transactions are, especially during emergencies and special occasions.
I will seriously reconsider using this app again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for reliable and fast transfers.

Worst platform to transfer money
I downloaded the app and made first transfer then referred to my friends they signed up as well.
Got £40 referral bonus however After the first transfer I could not able to transfer money nor the bonus amount. I tried to reach to customer support but they never responded. Only AI agents interact in call or chat which never solves the issues. They don’t have a proper customer support service. Now my account got deactivated without any reasons. I contacted to customer support and emailed too but of no avail, so decided to delete this app.

This app is managed by some crooks! If there is ever a problem with transactions, you will never get a response from them! Now they’ve come with the new documentation needed nonsense, for example your source of income or your tax documents etc ! Why in hell would an app that is run from someone in some hidden country have access to my tax information or my employer information? This app is Annoying! 😡 it's not easy to change debit card and address.
It's annoying when you chat them were very lucky if someone available to response. And even calling them nobody answer. So what I did I went back using sendwave bc it's higher their rate and easy to chnage information and debit card.

A scammer in Kenya tried to use this app to scam me money claiming they are UPS customer support and can provide refund when I complained about it on X
Good system but…lately
After sending money to a orphanage in Pakistan since 2021, WorldRemit wants documents about my salary and income investment and all types of private data. I’m not willing to share my personal data with a foreign company (non American) therefore I’m closing the account.
