Seldom works on phone
This works on my desktop most of the time, but almost never works on my phone.
Good Organization
I love how you can learn what you want, when you want. However, I do believe you should bring the spaced review back to be able to review everything you learn. And if it’s still in other languages, at least add it to ASL.
Great idea, but very buggy
I am trying this for Russian and Spanish. This would be an amazing app if it didn’t have so many bugs. Spanish was especially problematic. Quizzes didn’t show the things you’re supposed to guess. I hope these are improved. Once I listened to the Russian vocabulary, I couldn’t go back.
App won’t let me make account
I’d love to try this app, but when I try to create an account an error message pops up and tells me something went wrong. I’ve tried closing out and restarting. I have also deleted the app and redownloaded it, but I still keep getting the same message. Would love to be able to actually use it
Good but…
Ya need the equivalent of the duo lingo owl. Maybe Joseph smith. The angel Moroni?? The Liahona? A characterized version of “The Gift of Tongues”? How about a visit from a certain burning bush? Maybe if I’m a foolish virgin, I don’t get my lamp lit for the day.

I am learning ASL and the app is a great idea but no matter what I do internet wise, or where I am it is always glitching. With ASL it is all videos.. and of course the videos never show or they stop working. I cannot use this app for more than 2 minutes without the videos not loading. If the I could actually see the videos this would be a wonderful resource.

Decent
I am fluent in Chinese but wanted to prep for my mission learning the gospel words in Chinese because they were not taught to me in my 12 years of study. I like the app but I wish it had a real person and not computerized tone reader for the mandarin section because it reads some words incorrectly and could be very misleading. I also don’t like how they took off the audio for this language since I like to compare my tones knowing it could be potentially wrong due to the computerized reader.

Amazing*
This app is great! The flash cards, spaced review, practices, and tests are an amazing way to learn a language (Japanese for me) and have been helping a lot. I have noticed one problem so far. When I am adding my own words to my own topics the keyboard will cover up the text box I’m typing in. It’s still usable but more difficult than it should be. Thanks for creating this wonderful tool and I hope this gets fixed soon.

Awesome, But My Request:
I love this app, and it came to pass that I was exceedingly astonished at how much better it is than Duolingo.
Besides the colors being all dark and boring, I have one critique. PLEASE for the love of all that is good and educational - make the streak reset at midnight instead of every 24 hours or whatever. I want every day to be a fresh start, not every 24 hours. It demotivates me the next day when my XP bar is already filled, but it’s a new day and I’d like to get in some daily Spanish study.
Por favor at least for the iOS version. I wouldn’t know if this is good for missionaries out in the field somehow (I’m heading for the MTC in a month), but no missionaries as far as I’m aware use iOS, so please make this change for your buddy Ashton.

overall a great app but glitchy
The app is amazing and i love using it, but it glitches on me every now and then and nothing will load, so i have to delete the app and redownload it.
Wont load on iPhone
I got it to low just fine on my iPhone but when my wife tried to load it, it just goes to the main Embark opening page and never opens. She has enough space. she’s uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times and turned off and turned the phone back on still won’t load.
I would like to see the English letters with the Japanese characters so I can see how it’s pronounced when I listen to it.

Never Loaded
The app never loaded for me sorry for giving the bad review though maybe you could fix the glitch I would love using this app though to learn German.😁👍
Stops working
I really like this app but after I use it a couple times it stops working. When I go to open it the main page with the name comes up and they it won’t go any further. I have to delete it and reinstall it to get it to work again. But then it only works again for a short time.
Won’t Load
I’d love to use the app, but it doesn’t even load.

I have been unable to see anything other thank a blank screen that says embark on it. Would really love to use it.

I downloaded this app thinking it was any other language app, got the surprise of my life when it told me to sign in with my LDS account. I won’t be doing that, but it was funny for a moment

YESS!
So Sad!
I wish this app would work so much! But whenever I download it and click on it, it never leaves the loading screen. I was really needing to work on praying in Spanish, and I was hoping this app could help but it doesn’t work!
I would just recommend using SpanishDictionary.com to learn any important words or phrases you need to know in Spanish.

App does not launch in current build
I have used embark briefly before and it has wonderful resources for learning languages, but as of right now it is literally unusable. I open the app, and it just sits on the first loading screen. If this were fixed, this app would be an easy 5 stars. I am only giving it 3 stars because I know what it is and how good it is for learning languages. Once this issue is fixed, I will adjust my rating accordingly.
(EDIT) - BUG HAS BEEN FIXED! The app works phenomenally, just make sure your IOS is updated to the most recent version!
