Hard to use
The interface is poorly designed crude. Super hard to find a coupon. Upload receipts never works appropriately with email receipt. Always need to contact service and wait online. If you really wanna your app used by customer, even an AI can help with improve!

Broken
I have two Tanger outlets in my area. When I try to switch the location it logs me out. I re log in and it defaults to the original location.
Multiple outlets
It will not allow me to switch to a different outlet location. When I select the outlet location that I want, it takes me to the log in screen, I log in, and it defaults back to the wrong location. Which means, I cannot access the coupons for the store at the actual outlet location I want. Absolutely useless.

Too Complicated
You’d think with Tanger being so big and popular it would have a more user friendly app. It has me stuck in the Asheville NC store and I’m can’t change it to Myrtle Beach. Somehow I got signed out. It takes entirely too long to get an email to reset the password ! Ridiculous! Also, I got and paid for my Tanger membership Many years ago. Now it’s asking to pay more to upgrade.

Completely disgusted
I’ve been going to the outlets for decades and now you have some type of 30 day limitation to upload receipts? What kind of bogus nonsense are you promoting? People have busy lives and do many, uploading receipt is not at the top of my list. I want my point or I’ll find another way and another place to shop where actually my dedication and patronage is an appreciated!! it doesn’t matter the age of the receipt. As long as it’s within a year it should be accepted no matter what! It’s called Customer Service! Which obviously is lacking here at Tanger Outlets! Really pathetic

New app broken, each time I try to change the location it signs me out and I have to sign back in and them it signs me out again, never can get it to change location!
Upload receipts feature
Cannot upload receipts. This feature fails even though the pictures of my receipts are very clear and readable, as I scanned them and save in the correct file format and save it as a jpeg. The file size is way under the 4MB and still when it tries to upload it says it cannot upload.

I can’t even create an account, it doesn’t let me click the join now button. Fix ur app.
Bad design
How is there no search bar? Why does the exit button relaunch the screen I’m trying to leave? Please hire QA
This app doesn’t work properly
This app doesn’t work properly, the close button is not working at all. Everytime I have to close something with the x button, I have to restart the app. Transaction history doesn’t load properly, it takes a while to approve, sometimes the receipt gets rejected even when I had all the info.

Can’t create an account
App literally does nothing. Creating an account doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time on this.
No loyalty prices no longer competitive with online retailers.
I used to spent at least $1000 to maintain the platinum level. In the new program you have to pay for the membership. And there are much less coupons. I can get the same or better deals by just going directly to the company website and get free shipping. There is really no incentive to drive to Tanger anymore.

Trick you into paying subscription fees using deceptive tactics
Trick you into paying a subscription fee a year later and not willing to provide a refund. They use unethical tactics to charge people fees and to be deceptive.
Fraud! Avoid!
Canceled membership yet repeatedly trying to charge my card, even the expired one. I had no idea they had been charging me monthly for almost 2 years. I downgraded to the free account, and still charges. I canceled, still more charges. Literally moments after they sent ANOTHER confirmation of my cancellation I get another notification from my credit union that they denied another charge from these rip off artists. I guess it’s time to file a complaint with the state AG.

Trash, you can’t log in. It tells you that your password is wrong, even though it was saved in the app. You can’t reset your password because you NEVER get the reset link.

The new app is trash!
There was nothing wrong with the old design and function of the app. The “new and improved” version is literal trash. It’s not user friendly at all and is difficult to navigate. So disappointing! Bring the old one back, please!
Bring the humans back
Our local Tanger outlet mall closed all their in-person shopper services locations and replaced actual people’s jobs with this app. Receipt uploads often reflect inaccurate dollar amounts and/or erroneously get denied. It is difficult to find any way to fix these issues through the app. Do better and bring back the in person help, please.
