Insert SIM card Error
I just like to point out that Even after the “Error Fix” update, the “Insert SIM card” error still persist and had to revert to USSD to use the service.
Not Working After iOS 27 Update
It stopped working after upgrading my iPhone to iOS 27. It was working normally before the update, but since upgrading, I’m unable to use the app.
I’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists. Please investigate the app’s compatibility with iOS 27 and release an update as soon as possible. This is an essential financial service, so being unable to access it is very inconvenient.

App not Working outside of Ethiopia.
I went to Ethiopia last July and August. I am Ethiopian Diaspora with yellow ID. I used tell birr. It easy and reliable. My issue is I have money left in my account and I can’t use the app any longer. Because it needs data from registered phone number. Also not allowed me to connect using WiFi.

The face id approval works for payment but for login it used to work but now its not working….. 👀 i thought updating the app is upgrading not downgrading 🥴😳

Syncing
Telebirr unlike Safaricom does not allow synchronization with other platforms other than itself…!!! Plus recently logging in to Telebirr application using mobile data has become a huge problem…!!!
Unreliable app this is
This app crashes all the time and when you try to use it for transaction it says you’re not active or the server is busy or the app just crashes and multiple bugs it’s unreliable truly.
The best app!
This is the best mobile app in Ethiopia. However, the recent update took out the option of using Face ID for payment. It now requires to use password. Please improve!
Connectivity
This version doesn’t allow WiFi access to open it. It worked in the previous version, but the option has now been removed from the settings.
SIM detection
This app, whenever once stops allowing me to login, throwing the famous error, please insert the SIM card that is associated with this account. Very frustrating. There are no VPNs, Data roaming or anything if your telecom doesn’t accept. I’m using iPhone 12 Pro Max, everything up-to-date and still I’m having lots of problems with this app. It needs a lot of work.
