My thoughts of using Texas Health MyChart
I’m really enjoying using this app to look at my test results from my doctor, reminder appointments, and most of all the opportunity to message and receive answers from my clinician. As an elderly person, it was easy for me to learn the system and to log on and go from” test results “ creating to “ billing”
Etc. It also allows my other doctors to see test results, etc..
I would highly recommend everyone to at least give this app a try !! if I can do it anyone can do it !

Virtual Care Visit
Texas Health charged me $60 for my virtual online appointment where they market the price to you for only charge $49. My insurance is supposed to cover it and they are refusing to fix it.

Really helpful to review test results, before or after doctor notification.
Convenient
A handy way to check test results, message your doctor, and check on appointment times. Best of all, using this app I no longer have to listen to the long-winded recording they play when you call in on the phone.
All doctors do not use this app
I’ve been in the hospital and seen different doctors, that from Baylor, and also in Texas Health in Plano that do not use this app, all doctors seeing patients, that is recommended through the hospital should be on the app.
Reason for visit
No where on the questionnaire does it give you an option for labs or immunizations!
Fantastic Patient Portal
I am so impressed by Texas Health MyChart. Past experiences with patient portals of other providers have not been great, so I basically just expected another glitchy, confusing, non-user-friendly system. But this is awesome. The interface is pleasant and easy to navigate. It’s really intuitive. I can do everything I need right in my account from my phone or computer. And I love that I was able to fill out all my new patient paperwork in the portal days before my appointment. I didn’t have to fill out anything when I got to the appointment. This is a really wonderful platform.

Confusing
I keep getting texts with request to go to app, but can’t figure out what for when I get there.
