OK, so basically I spent my time watching two ads to get enough money to see who I was calling to see the name of them and I tested it on a person I work with and it put the wrong name and I was like maybe they just screwed up or something I don’t know and then I tested it on multiple other people it didn’t work. I wasted my time on an ad. It didn’t work so I’m mad.

When you’re looking specifically for a free second line and your app keeps coming up because it’s got “free DOWNLOAD”… All apps have free DOWNLOADS !! It’s the price you’re glossing over throughout the entire app add that’s the problem!!!

Do not download- ID Photo Verification
I signed up and sent the number to people. Then I received a message to verify myself with my ID. I don’t want to give strangers my ID to have a second line. The phone company doesn’t even require that. Then their customer service page says to message them on Facebook. But I tried that and the message wouldn’t go through. Seems dishonest not to mention that upfront. For some reason they are trying to get your ID and a selfie. Feels very intrusive. Deleting the app.

Keeps suspending my account
My daughter has been enjoying text note for several months and has really liked it but lately she keeps getting her account suspended and just today got it disabled due to “suspicious activity”. But all she does is texts her friends from it. Super disappointed.

TextNow is a great communications service, however I believe verification codes are essential.
Even if it is allowing 2 codes a month, it would help login to critical applications.
TextNow even blocks some Verification Calls.
This can hinder Apple ID logins and many other services.

Points disappeared
My 5,000 points disappeared from my account without any explanation. I contacted customer support three times, but none of the agents could tell me why the points were removed.

Always glitching
The app is always glitching. Half the time when I have someone trying to call me from the TextNow app and I accept it. Usually, I can’t hear because there are a plethora of ads in the way stopping the call. And this thing glitches more than ever half the time when you’re trying to call someone it’ll just instantly hang up the call or there’s always ads in the way with loud music to where you can’t do anything because the ads are always blocking the phone call or from you making the calls, I would not recommend getting this app at all.
