What is this
First of all it doesn’t let me use the app in the first place when I have my VPN on, and second of all now it has some face scanning feature. I don’t know what happened but I am not using this again for sure. Also developer I don’t know how to see my review so I probably won’t be able to see your response if you make one

The most dumbest app ever
Can’t even receive codes from anything it will say premium but if you are going to do that then you mine as well make sure you know what you are actually doing
Used to Work Now it Doesn’t.
This app worked great until I tried to install today and couldn’t get passed the initial page. It just staged stuck at the first page even flipping the phone off and on. It’s obviously. TextNow problem only because no other sites are acting like this and it’s the only one one I’ve used used on iOS. I’ve told all my friends about it and now have to tell them all to stay away from it.

Numbers and text are not deleting
The app is not deleting text messages and call logs!
Robot mode?!
While it often can be a good additional phone line, the problems continue (& I hope with each update that it may be solved). The phone turns our voices to ‘robot’ sounds and neither party can hear the persons actual voice. This is at random & several times a day. Also, when text comes in it will trigger worse interference. To solve we have to hang up and start over.

skeptical at first BUT BEST decision ever
Because I needed a secondary phone number for my business, I decided to try this. The ESIM
TXT NOW SERVICE was available to add so that I could have a phone number at primary and a TextNow phone number at secondary on the same device. The service was even better than my primary service, Verizon! ThE PRICE IS WAY CHEAPER THAN MY PRIMARY !!! AND It is very reliable. I don't have to worry about anything. While I live in a suburban area, which usually does not have good service with other carriers, I still have a signal and am very satisfied with this service. If you do not need unlimited everything and just want to be able to call and text, this is still the best app. There is no need for Wi-Fi to do so.
don’t second-guess yourself like I did give it a try you won’t be disappointed

I love the way it helps me keep in touch with my family. If it will protect now a lot of people wouldn’t be able to use their phones.
Terrible

My review
Textnow is a really good app and In my opinion I recommend this app for kids and teens and many more. I just don’t like the adds that pop up during your texts. Overall I rate it 6/10
Useless free tier. The pricey cost is a scam
Pointless free tier. Ofc the official rating is 4.5+ but most of the recent reviews are 1 stars like mine.
TEXTNOW SUCKS SO BAD GEEZ
IT LITTERALLY STOPPED ME FROM CALLING/TEXTING PEOPLE FOR 24HRS STRAIGHT JUST FOR SAYING 'HELLO' I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP AND IM A KID AND TALKING TO MY FRIENDS MATTERS AND THEY BANNED MY RIGHT FOR DOING THAT. I DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE RECOMMEND IT SUCKS SO BAD YOU HAVE TO PAY TWO DOLLARS A WEEK TO VERIFY YOUR NUMBER AND HECK NOBODY WILL PAY THAT SO AND THEY DONT ALLOW VPN WHICH IS BAD AND MY FRIEND IS TEXTING ME RIGHT NOW BUT I CANT TEXT BACK THANKS TO TEXTNOW THANKS A LOT TEXT NOW AND THE ESIM DOESNT WORK WITH IPADS AND CARRIER LOCKED PHONES CUZ I HAVE AN IPAD AND I WANT IT TO WORK WITH MINES SO FIX IT.

TextNow is a great app. It meets my needs for my business and never have cut off missed calls or drop calls. I recommend using TextNow for personal use or business.
