Grief Support
Losing a spouse is such a life changing event. I feel like I’ve gone through years of rolling emotions. I appreciate this app for allowing a place to feel all my feelings. I like journaling on my memories of him and I like posting the happy moments I’m having now as I rebuild my life.
What a wonderful and comprehensive tool for the grieving. (Which is all of us)
We are all grieving. We experience grief on so many levels, and for so many reasons. Death of a loved one or pet, loss of a job or opportunity, end of a relationship, post-trauma, etc. It also ebbs and flows over time. Sometimes we need to acknowledge the loss, sometimes we need help moving forward day to day. Many times we don’t know what we need.
Something I love about The Grief App is that it meets and serves you in so many different ways, so you can find support/distraction/focus/peace… whatever approach or tool would benefit you in the moment.
I think it’s fantastic that it gives you both the opportunity to capture memories from the past, and prompts and reminders to find joy in the here and now. That it gives you many ways to just take a moment for yourself to *be*, or - through activities and workbooks, many opportunities to actively learn, grow and heal in your journey. Both *being* and *doing* serve as critical anchors for living. Feeling anchored and living can be so, so hard in grief.
I look forward to sharing this resource with friends, family and co-workers, no matter who or what they are grieving. Thank you so much for creating it!

A Guide, A Friend, A Way Forward
This app provides guidance and empowerment to help transform the profound overwhelm and confusion of mourning into a meaningful growth experience.
It provides comforting insight into sorrow and anger, while providing activities to honor the source of heartache and loss.
I found the grief wave particularly helpful. The timer allows you to feel the powerful morass of conflicting feelings in their entirety, while still grounding you to the material world where you must function and care for yourself.
The workbooks and activities provide opportunities for distraction, insight into complicated, intrusive thoughts, and ideas for self care without overtones of judgment.
Opportunities to honor our lost loved ones, when ready, are a beautiful way to find our way back to happy memories in dark nights of the soul. The Grief App is helpful to store thoughts and create a “memory book” for them.
A video upon opening serves as a guide to the many, many features this app offers.
