Can’t opt out of tracking

I had been quite satisfied with the app, although the daily rate to park in Philadelphia had taken a big jump. I hadn’t used the app for several months and when I went to make a reservation on my phone I got a pop-up notification about tracking shared with other unnamed apps, with no apparent way to opt out. My reaction is to delete the app and make the reservation on my laptop, where I have more control of tracking activity.

Too easy to get on the wrong bus. Waste of time

The system this company has for getting you back to your vehicle is a serious weak point, especially if they offer
more than one location. The signage at boarding is mediocre and intricate, specifically in Houston. Nobody asked or helped when I boarded and the drivers rely on paper receipts to drop off passengers one at a time.. When the error is realized you are stuck on the bus and they drop you off back at the terminal to get back in line. Ughh!

Don’t bother calling for assistance if you need it

Nobody will pick up. Scam business.

Service getting worse

Prices up, service down. Hard to recommend when you stand in parking spot and no shuttle picks you up (Atlanta)

Waiting on confusion.

This is our go to parking option for flights. However it is frustrating watching many shuttles for so many other services come by time and time again. One other service had 4 shuttles come in the time one came for us. And there were so many folks still left waiting for the next one, another 20-30 min later.

Finally on the shuttle, and the driver had no idea where our cars could be. We had to direct him. I totally get a little bit of being the exact car position. But to be in a completely wrong lot is very frustrating after waiting 20-25 min to be picked up in the first place.

Arm Twisting to “Pay Now”

NOPE!!! I can no longer recommend either Parking Spot lot for airport parking at Dallas Love. It used to be the best option, at $8-$10 per day. They now charge $19.95/day, while the new airport terminal parking is $21 for the brand new parking terminal which is attached to the terminal via a very well lit, air conditioned, CLEAN walkway.
Parking Spot requires a wait for a shuttle bus, coming and going.
On drop off, it can be a no-wait situation or longer. Frequently, we’ve had to wait 5-10 minutes at our car or start walking the lot, hunting for the shuttle to take us to the terminal. Not fun with luggage at 5am on a cold rainy morning.
On return it requires a hike (mostly outside on an uneven sidewalk) plus another (outside) wait for the shuttle from terminal to your car. Usually about 25 minutes from baggage claim if there is NO one in line and a shuttle is even there.
And at $19.95 per day, that’s just ridiculous, when there is a brand new-ish terminal, climate controlled and well lit walkway to terminal parking at $21/day. Well worth that small difference.
I am a long time Parking Spot member as well as long time AAA member, and even with the AAA discount, it’s still worth going with the airport terminal parking at Dallas Love.
Until The Parking Spot gets over itself.

No complaints!

Just as I was walking out of the airport, a bus pulled up. I love not having to wait!

Endless spinning at entry gate

This POS wouldn’t stop spinning when trying to enter the lot. Thankfully the email QR code was available (which immediately loaded in Gmail app)

terrible app, terrible prices

prices keep going up. i'm switching to canopy.

Not working or taking payments

App is not working at all

Good App / It would be better if…

I regularly use The Parking Spot / app. Overall they are both quality. It would be better if…

1. Add app functionality to create a calendar entry for iPhone/Android/etc. to create a calendar appointment for Parking Spot reservations to include your address for GPS mapping. Most airlines, vehicle rental outlets and hotels already have this option.

2. Save customer parking space location data within the app in case customer loses their ticket. I always take a picture of mine as a back up. App feature?

3. Option for customer to communicate with pick up or a countdown showing how many stops away they are from you at the airport. Over the years I have had the bus drive past without stopping (in the designated pick up area with an empty bus) only to have to call the local phone number to send them back. DoorDash and other similar services include this feature.

4. Most of your busses do not have the poster to scan so as to provide the driver with a tip. Maybe get the ID number from the driver and enter it into the app as an option. Also provides a receipt.

Like I said, good app and overall a good service. Thanks for your time!!!

Bad communication and routing

Really bad at not being able to see when buses are coming to pick you up, and no way to ping or notify the station when you’re waiting for extended periods. You’re really just at the mercy of just waiting around and potentially missing your flight

Hard to use points

I get to the end of my reservation and there is NO WAY to use my points at that point. No. Instead you make me start the entire reservation over… fill out everything again… just let me flip a dumb switch at the end to use them.

Bad service avoid

Especially in Austin waiting 20 minutes to get picked up at my car, avoid at all costs

Amazing customer service

I park every week at DFW North and love their service

GREAT ENERGY AND SERVICE

Troup was a great driver! He came out in the rain to our car for bags to assist us! Very nice sense of humor and extremely helpful. Because of employees like Troup, I would return to Parking Spot

Non existent custom service scammed multiple times

This has happened several times. After paying and making reservations on the app. I’ll arrive and find their scanner cannot find my reservation. Then I’ll have to swipe my credit card to park and hope I can get a refund. Good luck because they don’t have a phone number for customer service and sending emails does nets no answer.

Always Easy and Safe

I’m always pleased with the Parking Spot. It’s covered, clean, and staffed by courteous employees.

Service declined; prices up

Recently, takes forever to get picked up in their parking lot. Had to call twice and still took another 15 minutes.
