Great Coffee Terrible App
The Salty has amazing coffee and donuts. They’re a little pricey, but the quality is worth it.
The reason for my lower rating is the app only. It’s honestly one of the worst ordering apps I’ve used. It’s constantly buffering, and placing an order feels like trying to buy concert tickets. During checkout, it repeatedly says the store “needs more time,” and by the time it refreshes to the new pickup time, it needs even more time again. It can take several attempts before an order is finally confirmed.
On top of that, there’s essentially no useful order tracking. The app marks the order as “complete” and closes it even though that just means a delivery driver has picked it up from the store. After that, it’s nearly impossible to tell where your order actually is or when it will arrive.
The food and coffee are great, but the app seriously needs improvement. I hope they update it soon because it’s the only part of the experience that keeps me from giving a higher rating.

$12 donut disaster
It took 10 minutes and numerous tries to order these $12 dozen donuts! And the email gives delivery as an option but you can only PICK UP!

These donuts hit! I drive an hour just to get them…often. If you dig gourmet then this spot is it.

Issue Since New Update
i’ve Ordered Multiple Times Via The Salty Donut App, But Ever Since The Last Update i’ve Had To Re-enter My Address Before The Order Could Be Placed 🥺, (Please Fix This Issue). 😋 Every Donut i’ve Tried Has Been Delicious 😋!

UNNECESSARY REFRESH
The newly updated version of this app is unnecessarily cumbersome, filled with bugs and glitches and doesn’t enable easy access to previous or favorite past orders, so for a regular customer, every order experience feels like the first time.
I’m not sure who oversaw this reimagined app, but this shouldn’t be considered a success. It’s awful.

Fix your app
Salty, we like you lots, and we’ve been around since your early days, but your app is trippin’. When I try to check out it glitches. At first I thought maybe it happened because a specific donut was out of stock, but I just added a classic glaze donut and it STILL gives me the error message. Software testers, do your thiiing.
