So many great pieces
I love ThredUp and have been using it forever…since they first started actually. They always have so many wonderful things and I like that I am helping the planet too! I love thrifting so it’s nice to be able to do it anywhere! I wish returns didn’t have a fee and I wish they would bring back the style boxes they used to have. They were neat. Someone would pick pieces for you and then you would get to decide what you wanted to keep. I really enjoyed that. But, overall this is a wonderful service and I use it all the time!

Quality Threds
These days at my local thrift stores I find nothing but fast fashion at quality clothing prices. I gave ThredUp a try and the shopping and shipping experience has exceeded my expectations. Im also doing my part in conserving energy and being mindful of my footprint.
Total Game Changer Thrifting!!!
So, I am apparently- SO late to the discovery of ThredUp. I am shocked that it’s been around for years. Anyway, I found it at the most perfect time in my life. As a lady in my 50’s, everything has changed for me in the last few years- my health, my body and the way I choose to live. I had lost myself, in a sense. But I have finally found peace and am rediscovering myself. I’ve always loved fashion, and now I have a whole new wardrobe with ThredUp- I have had such a fun time doing it, while on a budget. I,even, found some boots that I had been looking for, for years!!!! I now, looking forward to each new season -so I can start wearing all my new finds!

The best online thrift shop
You get all the details on the clothes and they got really good descriptions and photos are clear! They also have a photo search feature now so its easy to search the clothes yoy see elsewhere and get thrifted ones here. Very sustainable way to shop!

I’m in love with thredup. I’m all about sustainability and doing good while I’m on the earth. I also love a good deal - who pays retail prices anymore?! Not me!
Need more measurements
I buy from them a ton, but it’s hard to try other brands because they’re really stingy about measuring the clothes. Decent if you’re familiar with the brands you want—otherwise, it’s a total gamble (at least for women’s clothing).

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience using ThredUp! The jeans I bought came exactly as expected — nice, clean, and packaged very professionally. One of the 3 pairs I ordered unexpectedly became unavailable, but they immediately refunded me AND gave me a $10 credit for the inconvenience. Great prices too! Honestly, I don’t think I’ll shop at any other online thrift store now!

Worth joining
I love the whole concept of responsible recycling of clothes. And I’m enjoying shopping with no guilt. I just wish Thred Up paid a bigger percentage. Or at least offer free shipping when you make a purchase.

Good app for Buyers bad for sellers
As a buyer, I’ve had a really good experience with this app. It’s very easy to use, and communication is usually great, which is why I gave it 3 stars. However, as a seller, I wouldn’t recommend it. You only get a small percentage of your sales, which I find ridiculous, especially when some of the items I’ve sold were expensive and sold for high prices. There have been times where I’ve sold something for a good amount and only received a couple of dollars from the sale. Like… where did the rest of the money go? Another con as a seller is that sometimes you don’t even receive your money, which is extremely frustrating. Overall, I think this is an amazing app for buyers, but not so much for sellers. If you’re mainly selling, I’d honestly stick with Depop or Vinted.
