Best Inline Thrift Store!
ThredUp is hands down the best online thrift store around. The selection is vast and I often purchase brand new with tag items for a fraction of the retail cost.
The only negative is that selling/consigning with ThredUp isn’t so great as the profit is literally pennies on the dollar and often a great financial loss, versus selling directly on other retail sites.

Ever since I hear how much clothing is on the planet already, I decided to never by ‘new’ again. I have found amazing pieces on ThredUp. Totally affordable. I love this so much.
Do it.
Works great. I shop for both myself and my kids, from casual basics to statement pieces. Convenient, especially if you know what you like and what looks good on you - it’s easy to search and filter. And it’s environmentally friendly, too.
LOVE this app
I've been using ThredUP for at least 9 years. It's my favorite place to shop and it's so fun to find stylish items my size without having to dig through thrift store racks. My ONLY complaint is that they don't give waist measurements of shorts for some reason. So it's more of a gamble.

been trying to buy the dress of my dreams for 9 hours and even set timers to try and add it in my cart. literally waited all day and everytime it counted down to zero it just reset the time to 3 hours. waited overall 9 hours just for someone else to buy the dress. do not understand this!!!! i am so sad and frustrated why do i need to wait hours to buy something???? if im going to buy it i should be able to ad it to my cart and check out right then and there

A Great Thrifting Option to Add to Your Rotation

Variety, Quality, Prices!
The merchandise is great but a lot of companies have that as well but ThredUp does the best at disciplined product presentation so it doesn’t feel chaotic. I appreciate that most of the dresses are on the same mannequin with the same lighting and the same photo angles.

Scam
I sent a variety of name brand items they list as accepting in through the clean out bag option. Some were even new with tags. They accepted 1 item for 99 cents! I asked for my items back since I had followed all the requirements and the clothes were clearly sellable. They said I would need to pay for their premium service if I wanted items back. It was all very shady. Based on my experience, it definitely seemed they were selling items deemed unacceptable under pretense while sourcing them for free through consumers.
