What is the point of the Condition system?
I stopped ordering from Thriftbooks for a while because the Condition system didn’t seem to matter. I would wait and wait for something to show up in Like New condition at an acceptable price and it would come to me ripped or crumpled. Either it was like that already and they labeled it incorrectly on their site or their trash packaging allowed damage during shipping. And then it seemed like everything was costing more than it used to. And then they changed their policy so you had to return the book if you contested the quality instead of changing to a partial refund system rather than full refund. Then they introduced selling your books to them and they would give you ten cents for something they’d sell for ten bucks. And I’ve heard even worse things about it. All factors that turned a great used book resource into yet another scam.
Recently, I went back and ordered a few books from them, thinking maybe I was overreacting to the negatives listed above. Two Like New books came to me in worse condition than the ones I ordered listed as Very Good. I spent the extra money for the best condition available and got it in worse condition. That’s basically theft. I’m so sick.

This Site is refusing to let me in, I tried everything but kept giving me the same result each time
This App & Website, isn’t letting in whatsoever, I basically tried everything involving asking help and figuring out to fix the issue. I waited for the app/website to put me through but it ended up putting me back in login page, and thinking I completed the account making, but it kept glitching and sending me back the same login page but this time it say my email & password was incorrect even though I sign up my information multiple times and sending the email over and over that, and the worker that’s working on the website told me that my email wasn’t adding or didn’t exist in the system. I tried to reset forget password but it was no luck, it was an empty box and I waited for a minute by them saying I’ll take a minute. I don’t know it’s the device I’m using or the website/app having a bug or a glitch. Because I tried everything to get in but it refuses to let each time, I been doing this for a hour asking why or how to fix the problem but the still not resolved each time I tried to sign up or reset the password, it’s an first experience that an website and app refuses to let me in by putting all my information in correctly, but seem like AI has been given my account an error or belittling me by thinking I’m a bug.

Sucks
This app tried offering me $1 for all $26 of my books. All the other books on the app are expensive. Basically, they lowball you and then they sell them for even MORE 🙄🙄

I’ve never had a problem and the prices are better than Amazon
App Malfunction
The website works just fine - it’s just the app that remains a consistent issue. I open the app and it just shows a white blank page with the green block bar at the top. I’ve tried deleting completely and redownloading the app without any change. It would be nice to be able to access this through my phone, but I will continue to use the website. Otherwise, great service!
