The share ticket function is abysmal, why does such a big company care so little about the customer usage of their website and app?
Transfer
In order to receive a transfer ticket, you have to delete the app. Is ticketek being programmed by a two year old?
Rubbish app, rubbish backend, rubbish site
You’d think that someone that charges so much for tickets can get their app, site or their back-end working properly. I can’t even sign in. “Existing account” won’t let me reset my password and won’t let me create a new account.

Terrible
I was using the browser version then I downloaded the app but I could not for the life of me find the people I went on the waitlist for and every time I try to search it says that it can’t find what I’m looking for no matter what I search.
Why does this app suck so much?
You charge people a fotune for tickets, but what is the money going towards? Wasting my effing time?

Aug2026: this app is so glitchy since ridiculous Ai upgrade. Aside from its pop ups taking up valuable real estate on a small phone screen - it should be an opt out. There is no way to go backwards to event info & calendar. When seeking info on reselling - none of the links to the help pages actually work. All are broken.

I’d give it zero if I could
Tried to but a ticket. Kept crashing. Finally paid and no indication that I have bought anything. No confirmation email, nothing in the app to show I did anything or that I have purchased a ticket. Guess I’ll just wait and see if I have a ticket or not. What a load of garbage.
Worst app ever
I’m wondering if anyone from Ticketek even reads these reviews or they just hide knowing their app is the worst in the entire world? I literally could not buy AFL tickets because choosing seats is so glitchy on the app. I had to go onto the website and even then it showed level 2 seats available but I couldn’t purchase them so I log out and log back in and who would have thunk, level 2 seats are available and I could purchase them! An abomination of a customer experience.

What a joke
With the time limit, slow app, back and forth to get the desired seats, glitchy screen that reacts to a touch anywhere on the page it’s a miracle I’ve bought any tickets. I just had it time out 3 times with no tickets even though my payment went through. You SLICK
Lightscape
I can understand when there is a big concert in town and have to queue up that the app would crash a lot, but the fact that im trying to get tickets to lightscape and struggling is so disappointing. Honestly the 6min time isnt long enough, since every page takes 2mins to load by the time im entering my details the session has timed out. What doesnt help is that the screen goes blank and doesnt allow me to click make payment after choosing payment method. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON EVERY ATTEMPT, am up to attempt #12

Doesn’t work for high demand concerts
Lost one hour on the line, just to watch the app refresh every time I tried to pay until my session expired

You can’t be serious Ticketek. You cannot create an account. Your bumbling technology can’t even send a password reset email either. If I could give it Zero stars I would. Do better.
A technical bug ruined my pre-sale experience and cost me the opportunity to buy good seats.
I had a very disappointing experience during the pre-sale.
After waiting in the queue for a long time, I finally got through, only to find that there was no purchase button. I initially thought it was an issue on my end, so I waited for quite a while. Later, I checked social media and discovered that many other users were experiencing the exact same bug.
I kept refreshing the page, and it took around 20 minutes before the purchase option finally appeared. By then, most of the good seats were already gone, and I wasn’t able to get the tickets I wanted.
The whole point of joining the pre-sale queue early is to have a fair chance at buying tickets. A bug like this completely defeats that purpose. Ticketek should have addressed the issue immediately or paused the queue until it was fixed, instead of leaving affected customers to figure it out themselves.

Glitchy app/website hybrid
Considering you pay for this ‘service’ with event purchases - can’t fathom how average the app is. I had to try transferring my tickets to my friends so many times it blocked my account. Loading a website (within an app) to transfer tickets isn’t an app
