Invasive notifications that can’t be cancelled
I had to get this app for an event. It kept giving notifications on my Home Screen for which I hadn’t given permission. Turned them off. Tried to delete the notification and each time there was no option to cancel and the notification wouldn’t go until I restarted my phone. Deleted the app and then yet another notification. I will be notifying the event organisers.

Won’t refund following cancellation
Event at Dunham Massey cancelled due to weather. Ticketek refuse to refund money because my credit card was stolen and the account closed. System won’t allow them to refund to new credit card number or bank account in my name at same address. Scammers.
Does not allow exchange of tickets
The exchange ticket function does not work despite this being given as an option on the app. I have tried this numerous times on different phones. This seems to be a consistent complaint but has not been resolved.
Should have checked other reviews
Booked through the app for a local event- paid for ticket and booking fee, my booking was cancelled due to bad weather, they refunded me the ticket price but not the booking fee despite not being able to use the ticket for reasons beyond my control! I can’t see this company lasting very long as the other reviews don’t look great either!

Doesn’t work
App stuck on search page, unable to click anything to view tickets…will be using web instead
Zero stars - awful!
Constantly crashes. Especially when trying to access My Account. Set up alert for pre sale - didn’t work and wouldn’t let me access presale. Still would let me buy tickets to the event even when on general sale.

The app is not user friendly
App glitched and I lost my money
I was ordering a ticket and right when I got to the final stage, the app crashed and brought me back to the seat selection. The money was still taken but I have no ticket, order or email confirmation. It’s been weeks now and there’s still no action taken. I advise don’t use this app.
Pretty useless so far
Bought tickets via the event organiser’s website; who use Ticketek. Event was cancelled. Had to install this app to get a refund ( can’t do it from the web portal for some reason) … but then the app reports the ticket can’t be returned at this time, please try again later. On the plus side, their support site works OK and they then processed the refund directly within a couple of days

Appalling
There is a large volume of people complaining about Ticketek and lack of refund/being unable to rebook tickets cancelled due to poor weather. I am honestly disgusted at how difficult this has been. Cancelling on the day as we were on our way (early due to weather and having a little one who we have to stop with) is not the first time this has happened to us, it’s actually the 3rd now. But I understand the weather cannot be helped. They sent us the process of how to exchange tickets/get a refund which was very easy to follow however as soon as you click ‘exchange’ on the app it comes up with an error message and says to try again later. I have tried hundreds of times, and I get the same message every single time! The app is useless as is their costumer service! Avoid

App doesn’t work
Terrible app - had our tickets shared with me, when I tried to get them on the app, it said I already had an account (I don’t). Waited for an email to reset my “account” that never appeared. Eventually I went to the mobile website and signed up this way instead and it worked. Also can’t add the tickets to my Apple wallet, hoping that won’t be an issue at the event later!

Wish I could give zero. First time using for my wife and I, same problem - claimed we both already had accounts. When we clicked forgot password no email arrives (still after 9 hours). As a result we aren’t able to have tickets shared with us. Hopefully they understand on the door.

I've been trying for 2 hours now to exchange my ticket to a later date but everytime it crashes and asks you to try later! I've never seen an app worst than this one

Absolutely not fit for purpose
This app is useless: I shall be complaining to the National Trust and advise they use a different ticketing platform asap. Event cancelled , however only one ticket out of two refunded due to the appalling functionality of this ticketing app.
Appalling App
Tried getting a refund for tickets cancelled by Blenheim Palace. App was glitchy and didn’t work properly. Only able to refund part and not all of trip. ZERO ability to be able to call or speak to anyone. Worse than useless on-line enquiry form.
Worst ticket platform
Can't access your tickets on web, and when you try to add them to your Apple wallet from the app it just doesn't work.
My event has been cancelled and I've been offered to exchange my tickets. When I try to do it from the app, it just keeps loading the the available dates, so can't do anything. And of course you can't do it from the web.
