Hi Abbyster, Unfortunately TinyNest is a small company and with a team of a few engineers (all dads & moms!) we have mouths to feed. We also offer a much better app experience, richer features and much better support than FamilyAlbum so it all add up. Remember, you're comparing a multi-billion dollar company with a much smaller team yet they offer a lesser app. That being said we do allow you to use it for free though.

Regarding the clear notification, could you try the “mark all read” button in the activity page? It should be able to clear all notifications.
