Love this App!

My wife and I love the fact we can still share our child’s life in the privacy of our own social platform! Would highly recommend for all new parents 👍

NICU Updates

My twins were born 11 weeks early and are currently almost 6 weeks into their stay in the NICU, and TinyNest has made it incredibly easy to keep all of our family updated in the same place without anyone blowing up my phone specifically to ask for updates.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the kind review! We appreciate you as a customer and we wish the baby will be healthy and out of NICU soon!

Only free option is 7 day free trial

Was prompted for a 7 day free trial after I had already created an account, gave the app full access to all the photos on my phone, gave them my personal information including my baby’s birthday and name, and uploaded a photo. Was under the assumption that the free version of the app includes the first 200 photos. Not cool. I’d like to delete my account and cut off access to the sensitive information I gave them but the app is stuck on the 7 day free trial page and I can’t bypass without accepting it (which I refuse to). Ironic that the app’s selling point is around privacy and security but this is the user experience.

Hi schang, You can use the app for free even if it exceeds 200 photos limit. After it you just won’t be able to use premium features but you can still use the app normally. Please email support if you want to have your information removed.

Unknown subscription

Honestly was so excited to use this app until after I shared links with family/friends it tells me there’s a subscription. I should have known better.

Great App

TinyNest is a very cool way to share pictures and comments while still maintaining family privacy. 👍🏽👍🏽

Phenomenal

Truly as a first time mom, this is a game changer!!! A little pricey but I like how there's one subscription where you can add endless family members! Only thing missing is the option to create albums that are organized per month for you in year books.

Never want to loose these moments deff making a photo album separate
until a memory book is an option

Thank you Brianna for the kind review! We are trying to become the best family album app in the world and help parents maintain the privacy of their baby while being connected to the grandparents and family. Thanks for being part of TinyNest!

Pop ups demand a rating - cannot bypass

Pop ups interrupt viewing of photos, cannot be skipped until a rating is given. Rating is then not applied on App Store.

Good until I couldn’t use it anymore

When my little one was born, I stumbled upon this app and really enjoyed its functionalities. We have a large family that is in love with receiving these photos and updates. However, recently, after months of using this, there is now a restriction of uploading any videos unless you have the Pro subscription… I wish I knew this before committing months of memories of photos and videos to one place as the subscription price is rather steep for just needing video. Outside of that, it was good while it lasted but will need to find another app unfortunately.

Hi Ally, My name is Eddie and I’m the CEO of TinyNest. We are sorry you feel this way. The app subscriptions pay for the server and storage costs we have. We also have to pay for the small team of dads and moms so our families get fed. When you sign up it should outline there are restrictions if you decide to use the free version every time you post (at the bottom of the posting page). If you choose to you can still use a free version, but storing videos are too expensive to give it for free. I hope you understand where I’m coming from. We are not trying to make it unfair to our users and please consider supporting us if you like the app while you’re using it. Eddie

Best Family Photo Sharing App

I’ve had such a wonderful experience with TinyNest. The app has made it so easy to share photos and videos of my baby with family and close friends in a private, organized space. Instead of sending pictures individually, everyone can stay updated and enjoy watching my little one grow, and I love knowing our memories are all in one place. This was especially helpful with sharing the news of our newborn son and his daily silly faces he makes. It’s such a gift to share his special moments on a secure app to everyone with a click of a button!

Thank you so much for the review and the kind words. We are making the best family album app in the world for sharing baby photos safely! We developed all the safe and convenient features like screenshot detection, memories etc! We appreciate you as a user!

Sus

App only lets you select full access to photo album. I have a separate album on my phone for these photos but app doesn’t like selected photos only. Very sus.

Response from developer

Hi there! We added the selection of albums per your request. Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Could you please consider changing the review or contact us at support@tinynestai.com? We will help out

No point

You can’t access the app at all without purchasing the subscription. Makes you make an account to not even be able to see if the app is worth the money without automatically going into a subscription (yes it have 7 days free) but we all know how that works. You forget to cancel and get charged. Not worth the time if you can’t even see if it’s what you want to begin with

Response from developer

hi Brittani, we designed the whole experience so that you can try out and see if it’s a good fit for you. “You can’t access the app at all without purchasing the subscription” goes directly against what you mentioned “yes it has 7 days free”. Plus, even if you decide to cancel you can still use the free features, but for premium features like unlimited uploads, memory generation, you do have to be a subscriber. Otherwise it’s impossible for us to pay for our developers and our server costs

Not free

I read through all description and at no point does it say you need a subscription to use the app. Got all the way through setup before the Free trial popped up and that’s when I learned that I have to pay to use it. Won’t recommend to others.

Solid app

I love the app, we got tiny nest to protect our little ones from being seen by the outside world, we don’t want our babies shared or posted online and we really liked that there is a no screen shot feature, we do not like that you have to wait for a member to accept your invite before you have to manually go through each members profile and set the no screen shot function and their ability to share or post your babies photos. By the time you realize that your 20 family Members have accepted the invite, everyone has already screen shotted and sent your babies photos all over the place. You should be able to turn that setting off before you send the invite. We have a new baby and it’s a lot of work, it can be hard to manage a baby and each member of your families profile at the same time. We got this app for protection, for our little ones. I feel like that one little feature is more complicated than it needs to be, it’s nice that you can see who screen shotted your photos and can revoke their ability to screen shot further but you should not have to watch your notifications and hop on your app as soon as they log on to remove their ability to screen shot and or share/send your photos. For as expensive as this app is, they should make a few changes. Everyone who is not an admin should automatically not have the ability to share, screen record or screen shot photos from your collection. It can get out of hand fast. But overall it’s a really cool app. I love that the fam can like and comment on your photos. They can also upload photos they have taken. It’s a really cool app for the most part!

Response from developer

Thanks for the detailed review! As the CEO of TinyNest, I read every single comment and this is one of the greatest out there! Very thoughtful suggestions and I've already asked the team to start taking your suggestions in our roadmap!! I'm really glad TinyNest is helping you save memories as the baby grows and get she/him protected! Please let me know if you have any other suggestions and I'm always all ears (tap the contact support in the app will send an email straight to me) Thank you!

Good app

I like this app more than the others I’ve tried so far. Some changes I really wish they had: I don’t like that you have to toggle on the “HD” button every time you want to see a photo not blurry/in high quality, I wish there was a setting to just keep it enabled. Secondly I wish you could filter your photos when you go to upload new ones, like by favorites or specific albums, instead of just recents. Going to add some family so we’ll see what they think!

Hi Kittycat, My name is Eddie and I'm the CEO of TinyNest - Family Album... Thank you for the suggestions! I really appreciate them! For HD-feature you mentioned - yes we have already put the persisting-HD toggle on our roadmap and it will be out in August update. For the filtering - do you mean selecting specific albums on your phone, when uploading? Please email me at eddie@tinynestai.com and I'll make sure we add what you're asking for

Sucked into yearly

Started a trial and ended up not liking the product. Was not notified about the subscription start and asked for a refund. Have heard nothing back from Apple or the developer when asking for a refund.

Not Free

Once you get signed up, it’s not free like they market it to be. There’s a limit to how many photos you can post before having to pay. The FamilyAlbum app is way better since it’s free.

Response from developer

Hi Abbyster, Unfortunately TinyNest is a small company and with a team of a few engineers (all dads & moms!) we have mouths to feed. We also offer a much better app experience, richer features and much better support than FamilyAlbum so it all add up. Remember, you're comparing a multi-billion dollar company with a much smaller team yet they offer a lesser app. That being said we do allow you to use it for free though.

Five star App !!!

Auntie Triny

We news but we trust in the parents

It’s great!

The only thing I wish it did was clear all of the notifications at once instead of opening every single one to clear that notification.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the review! We appreciate it and will keep shipping features for our lovely users like yourself! Regarding the clear notification, could you try the “mark all read” button in the activity page? It should be able to clear all notifications. Please kindly email our CEO directly if it doesn’t work as expected and we will prioritize a fix eddie@tinynestai.com

Friendly user app/connivence

This app is worth the subscription for big and busy families. Instead of having to send photos to 20 different family members, we can add the photos to the app and allow family members to control which photos they want to download. It also keeps up with milestones and lists all photos/events by date. It’s very organized. It has made our parenthood a lot easier as fresh parents. Our bundle of joy is the first and only baby on both sides of the family; therefore, everyone wants an update consistently. We have greatly enjoyed this app. Thank you!
