Can’t log in to the app now because toastnow.com doesn’t resolve on their pop out browser. Otherwise the app is ok, lacks Square dashboard day to day analytics but you can ask the toast ai to cobble numbers for you but who knows how accurate it is
Worst service
At the restaurant i work everyone is complaining about this service. The owner said is them and they said is the owner so all the restaurant is unhappy with our payroll for the last 3 weeks. Sorry!

Toast is a company that you can only get a person from India to answer. They will say “no problem buddy” and tell you they fixed your paperwork. Then you will fight them about old and new paperwork for 3 years. Then you’ll try to cancel the service and they say “no problems buddy” then continue to charge you for 3 months, you’ll call they’ll say “no problem buddy” and your problems will continue with Toast, over and over again, buddy.
Also this service is way overpriced there are better way cheaper options. Avoid this company!

New updates make login impossible

Can’t get any support for mobile app
Every time i login it just glitches and takes me back to the login page. i have tried everything i could find on their website but you can’t get support on the app unless you’re logged in on the app. Its an inefficient design that makes it very difficult to get help unless you are the owner of the organization attached to your account. The owner of the organization is very busy, and doesn’t have the time to deal with small IT issues. Please fix this soon.

Toast reached out and also made the proper adjustments to get the app working again. I appreciate the speed in addressing the issue and also in communicating what was going on.
This update won’t even let the app open. All it does is stay loading. I’ve already deleted the app and reinstalled it multiple times! Very frustrating!! Fix this already!!!

Sorry for the frustration. The “stuck loading” behavior was tied to the iOS 26.4 beta. The fix is included in v1.56.0, and it’s also addressed in the most recent iOS beta. Updating should get you back in.
NOT LOADING INTO THE APP
Exactly as the title says. iPhone 17 pro, updated phone & app.

This update won’t even let the app open. All it does is stay loading. I’ve already deleted the app and reinstalled it multiple times! Very frustrating!! Fix this already!!!

Could generally be improved
The app is good but has a lot of minor inconvenience or lack of quality of life features.
For example:
Inability to see cash taken in any given day.
Inability to breakdown sales by item like seeing totals of specific items sold in any given day.
Inability to breakdown sales in cash,credit, debit
Also you cannot see sales that are preorder for the following day in the app, you must wait till day of to see any pre place orders and what the sales total is for that day or what items are needed.
I operate a food truck and it’s extremely crucial to have this information more easily accessible on the go rather than having to sit down at a computer or be actively at the POS in order to see this information.
Also being able to edit checks or provide refunds from the app could also be beneficial or even have the app being able to act as a pos in a pinch. Given the food truck environment things always happen and when you lose power and have no pos available anymore being able to process transactions in the app would prove extremely useful in those scenarios and can ensure we don’t lose sales as a result.
Again overall the app is helpful for sure but leaves a lot to be improved upon as well.

Annoying AI Features
New Toast update puts AI prompts in the middle of the data, with no way to disable it. Makes the app less-user friendly. Pretty disappointed.
