This is my most used app (even more than tik tok) if you have adhd or like to plan meticulously this app is amazing. I use it as a calendar, grocery lists, to do lists, journal, tracking habits, activities/places/restaurants I want to visit, etc. Currently at the grand master level 😊 Can’t recommend enough!

The review is based on the value for multiple users of a paid subscription.
The fact that this isn’t eligible for family sharing is a dealbreaker for the paid subscription- we fortunately realized before the free period ran out. We wanted to pay for the app, but the cost is too high when the free version is good enough. If we could do family share on a pro subscription, it would be perfect.

Got faaaaar too expensive
I took a break from Todoist for a few years. Can’t believe they’ve literally doubled the price. Ensh*tification of another once good app.
Update in 2026: was considering coming back. Still too expensive. I’ll self host other solutions for now.

I have been using this application for over 13 years and have been witness to the amazing product development that the task manager is today. Very intuitive data input allowing for simple daily reminders to complex team project management. I love the simplicity of quick task entry putting the essential organizing categories up front. It even allows for verbal entry. There are multiple display modes to adjust to personal preference in either list or calendar modes.
Their product development team is beyond compare. Continuous product advancement based on user feedback and suggestion has become the basis for many successful features available today . I have found their website support very helpful offering how to blogs, member chats, and common starter templates for task and project management. Issue resolution is always been an email away, with follow up provided within a few hours, but always within a day.
This is not a stagnant product and found it to be a life and career saving solution to reducing stress of trying to prioritize what needs to be accomplished the limited time we have available.

Good overall, but experiencing a bug
I've enjoyed using Todoist. However, I think the recent update to the app has completely broken my widget? It wasn't updating to show my updated project, so I deleted the widget and put it back, and after putting it back the widget is entirely black. I'm on iOS 18.7.8, if it helps.

フィードバックをありがとうございます！日付認識機能についてですが、ハイライトされた単語をタップするか、バックスペースを押下して解除します。ハイライトされた単語（または句）が、タスク名の一部になります。または、設定＞一般＞タスクの予定日を自動で検知するオプションをオフにします。よろしくお願いいたします！
The BEST to do list app
I’ve been using this app for years, and it is so clear, helpful, and direct. I can’t live without it.

I was enjoying it but with software updates it tells me to download the latest version but will not allow it (I guess the new version can’t be run on older platforms). So, it still asks me to download the new version each time I open it, and it now no longer syncs between devices. And, as far as I can tell, there is NO WAY to contact customer support or get any help with it. A useful tool which has become a time suck..

Calendar is the one big disappointment
I’m confused why I can’t sync my iCloud or a CalDav calendar with Todoist. I was hoping to move away from Google Calendar so it sucks that the options are so limited. I considered creating my own Todoist integration, but I don’t think the SDK allows me to sync calendar events.
Looking for an app that can handle tasks and events with my family. The tasks part is great but the calendar really makes it hard for me to commit my family to it.
