Amazing, local app!

If you are in Tulum this app is essential! I’ve been using it for years without issue. Food comes quick, reliable and with low delivery costs. The support staff is incredibly responsive and always there to help find a solution if there is any issues

The BEST and ONLY

Better food here than any other app! Infinitely better food and faster delivery than uber eats. I arrived in Tulum from America and was using Uber eats for a while, and I was never really impressed with anything I ordered which was shocking because I heard how great the food was in Tulum. Then when I heard about this app, I realized what they were talking about. The food here is. So much better than anything on uber eats. 100x better. And way faster!

Decent delivery app in Tulum

Happy to have delivery as an option in Tulum and the app is convenient. I look forward to having more restaurant options but the ones they have are enough. Keep up the good work.

Super fast delivery!!

I don’t know why I see bad reviews but my food came within 30 minutes of ordering. I messaged tomato.mx since it was my first time using the app and they immediately responded. Super helpful, very fast and loved my food. Thank you Tomato.mx you are a life saver on my trip in tulum!!! Please use this delivery service🙌🏻🙌🏻

Zero customer service

This place takes order and sloooooooowly fills them. If there’s no delivery driver and you are sitting at home hungry, no one will respond to your WhatsApp.

Terrible Scam Artists

Watch out you’ll get ripped off cash like I did. The delivery drivers (not all) will purposely try to scam you by being sneaky. Also the customer service does nothing to help if you get wrong or bad food… I’ve had food poisoning twice from this place because they take so long to deliver. Go out and get your own food, save yourself!

Worst delivery app I’ve ever used

This is the most trash app I’ve ever used, nothing works. There’s no way to contact the driver or the restaurant . Only reason people use it is because they have a monopoly in tulum.

Scammers!

I used tomato 3 times since we’ve been vacationing in Tulum and all 3 times we have been charged an extra $30-50 USD on our credit cards. I’ve had to dispute it to the point that my credit card has blocked them. They said they’ve blocked tomato with numerous customers for the same reason. Two of the three meals were cold and the service agent on WhatsApp was incredibly rude. I deleted the app… hell no!

Restos “always busy and not taking orders” hmmm

This app is super suspicious – I have tried countless times and everything is fine until I go to put my credit card in (US visa then Mastercard, then cash) and then it says they have “suspended taking orders and to try back in 10 to 15 minutes”. Super suspect - why it doesn’t come up until I finish putting my credit card number – US credit card. Even if I say cash, it says orders suspended. I have tried with six different restaurants at 9:30 PM. This is crazy.

Poor delivery service

Can’t get any order in. Tomato constantly suspends service. Just pick up the order yourself. Useless.

Surprisingly good

This app is a life saver here in Tulum! I ordered quite a bit and faced no issues. I actually kinda like the app itself- its barebones and minimal, yet gets the job. Kudos to the team that built this!
