2026.7 update:
Please fix iPad version, when toggle Pan and Tilt, the floating window that allows me to pick the viewpoint, (1,2,3,4, etc), is blocked by the other floating window of Panoramic view

I wish I can personalize / customize the Favorite tab on the main screen of the App.
I tried long-pressing one device to delete from the favorite tab, but it indeed deleted the device from the whole thing and I had to add it and set it up again. Please allow us to customize which devices I want to set as favorite. There is no difference between the tabs: favorite and all devices. Both are the same!

After using Kasa App, I tried Tapo. I know it is made by the same company.
But Tapo App has more features.
The only 2 things I like more from Kasa:
1. Camera names are sorted alphabetically
2. The latest movement detection is displayed on each camera (on Kasa) as in “00 minutes ago” while on Tapo it is displayed as “13:12” (example time).
2025.9.8 update:
The App allows you to tap and hold each camera and it starts wiggling. Then you can sort according to your preference.
Another advantage over Kasa is that you can choose to record only upon detection that saves SD cards’s life.

Been waiting years for camera alert pause
When the gardener comes I need to pause the alerts for an hour for my 7 Tapo cameras. No way to do this. All other camera vendors offer this!
Great app and camera!
Can do so many things at a distance from the app and ensure my parents are safe! We got the C230 and a micro SD Card for recordings. Loving it!! Shared access to siblings, we can all monitor from wherever we are.

Nonstop intrusive ad banners
There is no option to schedule day/night IR modes by time, which would be useful because the auto mode does not effectively determine the proper mode. Frequent prominent ad banners appear in the interface, and always come back some time after being dismissed, they are also recently being used constantly. They also take the area of functions you use frequently (for instance, viewing a camera) so they are designed so you will press and interact with them on accident. Also, use of notifications to send ads, these used to be disabled but recently started to disrespect any opt out

Annoying as hell
The buttons do not work very well with Kasa security cam. You have to push it several times to get it to work and half of the times it’s delayed or buffering. I held off and didn’t write a review hoping they would fix it but obviously they haven’t over the three years I’ve had it
