Had one of the first Traeger Grills, worked great and lasted a long time. Lost it in a divorce. Tried a cheap alternative that constantly disappointed. Bought this Ironwood XL today and I don’t know why it took so long to get another one. What was I thinking!
Love the remote control from phone
The new traeger Bluetooth control is terrific. I was able to monitor grill from my daughter’s high school. My dad was home watching grill and had no idea what to do with my ribs. I was able to log on the do everything remotely.
Used to love it. I’m ready to trash it.
App no longer recognizes my Traeger. Worked great until updates

Great grill
Out of the 4 pellet grills that I’ve had the Traeger cooks the best. That being said the build quality could be better as it feels like just a steel barrel modified to cook with pellets. WiFi is a great touch.
Next level grilling and smoking
The easy which it is to prepare food with this app is unbelievable speed, and accuracy of longer Cooks is that the touch of your fingers highly recommend to anybody with the Trager

Dry Rub Ribs
I love my Traeger, but when I cook my ribs, it says step one of 2 but there is no way to get to step 2. You have to manually raise the temp to 375 and remove the probe since it tells you to take the ribs off the grill. The only option I had was to stop or manual with an error saying probe is removed and needs to be installed for the cook.

My wife got me a Woodbridge pro for our anniversary, I’ve never smoked anything….its my 4th straight day of smoking chicken/ribs/butts and this app has helped me so much it’s unreal. Amazing job!
