The Traeger app has noticeably declined over the last few updates. The grill takes a while to connect to the app, the timer is not accurate at all, and there is a lag in syncing information.

Works but some annoying stuff
When any of the notifications go off they don’t shut up even after opening the app. Only way I’ve been able to stop them is to quit the app or let it go for what feels like 2 minutes of beeping
Highly Functional
This app makes it so much easier to use my grill. I hate the phrase, set it and forget it, but that’s exactly what you get to do with the app. You can watch the entire atmosphere of your food temp. As well as cooking temp from the comfort of your living room or wherever you’re at thanks to this app. I’m able to use my Traeger and even run errands! Best grill I’ve ever bought and I’m on my fourth one. Not because they’re garbage. I gave one to my father-in-law. My ex-wife took the other one in divorce and I decided to upgrade the one I kept.

The timer doesn’t work on the app it doesn’t sync up with the pit.
New to the pellet smoking game
This is the first time I've used my Traeger and I'll say this absolutely worth it. Being a novice pellet smoker I was a little concerned at first, but this pallet smoker is the best they do not lie when you say you pay for what you get worth every penny.

Improve the alarm
Great app and smoker except the fact that the thermometer alarm is not an alarm as much as it is a simple notification. An alarm sounds until it is addressed (shut off etc) and is far more useful than a notification that pops up and is easily missed. The result of missing the notification that your meat has reached the desired temp can have dire results. Simple. Please improve. Thanks
