Great app. Loving the widget for quick access to my forest π
Much cheaper than other companies that charge a booking fee like Trainline . Iβve not got used to ticket going into Apple wallet seamlessly yet
Good service and app very easy to use
TrainPal cleverly finds the best priced tickets from the thousands available, and has made train travel simple and affordable.
This is an oft mentioned app as an alternative but I canβt even get the sent code to enter correctly. So app dumped! Donβt bother with it.
Fantastic trip great price
Works a charm but sometimes when I tap my ticket the barriers donβt open
I am basically paying the same price as Trainline but the benefit of Trainline is that I can see if the previous trains have been delayed to help with my judgement making. This gives false sense that trains are on time when theyβre not
The app keeps pushing marketing notifications to you. Feels tacky. And if you compare with Trainline itβs the same prices. No need to switch.
This app expensive as I check another app and same travel detail 10 pounds expensive
Life is a bunch of bumps
Easy to book and great to get seats
Booked a return ticket on the day of travel, then couldn't travel due to sudden illness. Told a refund wasn't possible because it's only available the day before travel, a deadline that had already passed before I'd even bought the ticket. Raised it twice in chat, then sent a formal complaint by email two weeks ago. Still no reply. Never had a problem with TrainPal before, but this is enough to make me switch. Moving to Trainline for good, worth the few extra pence for peace of mind.

You really need to add the auto expire to the tickets so they remove themselves from wallet when you have travelled. Add that and you get 5 stars.
The app interface caused an immediate, accidental same-day booking error. Customer service completely refused to escalate the issue okay to a supervisor or offer a don't full credit swap, offering only a useless Β£5 voucher while keeping my Β£36.
Extremely poor customer support, you can only talk to a bot. They probably will reply this review with a link that will redirect me to the said bot.
Could not activate the app as never got an email with code required, so just deleted it.
I have been using so many apps but TrainPal is really amazing. Truely love the low priced tickets.
Applied promo code accepted then charged original amount anyway
Advertises casino like fake jackpots, should be investigated by uk law
